I've never been around during the Hallow's End event, but I really want to have that mount.
Can I just farm the boss ad infinitum or can the mount only drop from the pumpkins you get once per day?
I think its from the lootbag only now.
The first year of the event it was kinda easy to get cuz we just spam farmed it till pretty much everyone got it. Not sure when it got changed, I stopped doing it after the first year since I had everything.

I can only give my most sincered recommendation to getting Grid and configuring it to show your essentials. It has a plugin for legion raid debuffs which is insanely helpful, but you may have to configure some of the debuffs to change their priority order (like dragons aura debuffs, it's not information I need, but I do need to know who has the disease aoe tick and there's only room for 1 center icon).
Then you'll want to have all of your healing type spells as mouseover macros (or use an addon that accomplishes same, but I personally don't see the point when m.over macros work just fine).
Last, but one of the most critical things for a disc is some form of a bossmod, be it bigwigs, dbm or exorsus, something to give you a timer bar of when exactly is boss ability X Y and Z happening, because you are in most cases start countering them 5-7 seconds before they happen. This is a must if you want to perform well as a disc, if you start radiancing after the raid was aoe bursted down to 10%, it's already far too late. The ideal scenario for a disc priest is that you'll have everyone in the raid with atonement buff just before the raid damage happens, then you light's wrath, penance the boss/add and bring everyone back to full health 0.25 seconds after the dmg happened.
to Firebolt, you know you can outrange all of the abilities of the stone throwers and scorpions? Your ranged dps + healer doesn't need to take a single point of damage from either, making healing so much easier as you only need to worry about the tank and melee dps. This is the expansion of outranging, if there's a mob ability that's painful, first check if you can outrange it, it works on so many things in mythic + and even in raids.

We did it with monk and demon hunter so a lot of melee.

That still drops the targets for the triple bolt from scorpions from 3 to 2 and both are in healcleave range. Just have your tank turn the scorp face towards you so tank is closer to you than the mob and outrange it then.

Already had to pull 500k hps at scorpions on lvl 7, dont want to know what its like on 10. Although some people also stood in the fire zones. :D Also did not know about the outranging thing.
I am genuinely surprised people are having so much trouble staying out of those anyway. As a WoW player it should be hardwired by now to not stand in fire. Also people say they have trouble seeing it. For me it is one of the clearest void zones in the game.

There are addons which give warnings whenever you stand in fire etc. anyway so not seeing it is hardly a good excuse.

i dont know, the volcanic never spawns except when i look at something else for a second

GTFO does not help you with it I am pretty sure since you need to dodge based on visual before first dmg tick. Also I dont think GTFO triggers at all with this void zone. Have to say in the +9 run I just did it was pretty annoying since it can cost you when you have to interrupt heals to move. Also saw it late a few times when things were hectic although never died from it. Probably have to play more at melee range which I cant stand for some reason.

I am almost positive that the Volcanic always targets the range and I run with a triple melee setup and a tank -.-.

It acts very weirdly with 3melee, tank, healer i think. Maybe it expects multiple ranged. I've also had significant issues with it spawning under the floor and being invisible which is a huge issue when it hits for 50-100% of your HP instantly. For example on the eye of azshara lady hatecoil boss where you have the patches of land, it spawns under the land and you can't visually see it at all.. it oneshot our entire 5 man group

Downed Ursoc though :D Well you need less DPS for Ilgy than for Ursoc. But of course Ilgy has the added difficulty that you need to attack the right target. :D

Thanks
Nothing really new but doing the Macros helped a ton. I'm just doing normal Mythics for now until i'm a bit more comfortable, but Disc is really fun (and fuck Serpentix , no one died but he gave me that friggin poisondebuff 4 times and things nearly went downhill)

Volcanic works like this: Any mob in active combat has basicly an aura of 12-15 yards (not sure exact number) within no volcano will spawn. Any player outside of ANY of those auras from all active mobs is a valid target.
Thus, if you can stack everyone in basicly melee range of all of the mobs currently in combat, you'll spawn no volcanoes.
Now the fucked up part here is, mobs that fight other mobs, like in arcway where some nightfallen are fighting things like oozes, all of those mobs can spawn volcanoes on you at basicly any time you're within range of the mobs (probably ~60 yards).
So, if you can stack at melee without danger, stack at melee and no volcano no problemo.

Pretty sure it doesn't work that way.

Tested this quite a bit early this reset and we could reproduce no volcanoes at 100% rate when we pulled a pack that we could clump up and stack in melee range.
It's just not feasible to do everywhere, because mobs have cleaves, charges and such and if any of them leap out of your safety range, a volcano will pop under everyone.
