On another note, we all did glory of the hero on week 1, 2 of launch (3 for final achievement on EU) and one of the main rewards, the artifact appearance, does not actually unlock until you complete the balance of power achievement which requires ~3-6 weeks of EN and then nighthold. It's considered an appearance variation because it's a different color of the one unlocked in Balance of Power and you cannot unlock it without having the base version.. that's really awkward!

I've been playing with friends and their friends and we're working on H Xavius and have been slacking with Mythic+ 7 as our highest with few runs of them so far. Sadly there isn't enough of us on same server to try Mythic version of the raid, cross realm we do generally get around 20 or more people on raids though. Kinda similar here. HC everything is dead but we dont have enough players for Mythic so we are now basically sitting around doing nothing. M+ we have 1 group that does up to +10 runs but I have no group so I am stuck doing PUGs. Which mostly means doing like 5/6.

Im sitting on 40k gold and really have no idea what to do with it besides maybe buy a token. no real gold sink like gems/enchants/etc like when i last played WoW Consumables are at the most expensive they've been for a long time right now. Potions are ~600-700g each at the moment and you can use two per fight, flasks are ~1500g per hour, food costs money.. The potential is there to blow 40k in one raid night, even. My experience w/ legion so far has been lots of gold coming in and going out, i've probably spent 800k but got 500-600k back from professions etc in the last month and a half (am down overall) you get just as good gear as raids why even do those Mythic 7-9 gives ~855-860 gear and has similar difficulty to heroic EN (which drops 865) - mythic 10+ gives 865 but it's very hard to farm and mythic EN gives 880 gear. Two main reasons why mythic+ is considered good for gear: 1 - You can farm it all day so it's the dominant source of gear for "those people" playing 50+ hours a week, not nearly as big of an impact on those playing normal hours 2 - EN gear is actually pretty bad, there are not many good trinkets, no tier sets yet, bad relics, there are only two drops with my BIS stats in the entire raid. Dungeons do drop well designed trinkets, they do have those armor pieces that you need and they will scale up if you make them drop 20 times for a good warforge. 7.1 and later Nighthold should fix most of #2, we have the complete mythic+ system but we've only got the weakest 35% of t19.

Honestly I would already be a little bit more happy if they could just remove dps trinkets from Disc lootpool, they are useless after the nerf.

It's actually worst than my 840 ring for WW if you can believe it.

They have not seemed as capable as rdruid/shaman to me for straight healing but i've never seen one with good DPS either Disc is a lot of fun for those of us with a lot of MMO experience but not a lot of time to play nowadays; the skill ceiling is high enough that pretty much everyone who lets you into their group thinks you're some kind of WoW god if you can keep everyone up while contributing nicely to damage output. I've been splitting my time between holy and disc and it's been a lot of fun.

It's actually worst than my 840 ring for WW if you can believe it. 840 rings have ~1768 stat, Sephuz has 2322(including socket w/ a 150 gem) Sephuz triggers for ~4875 haste with ~33% uptime, average buff of 1625 haste but worth more because it's in a controlled burst. If you can reliably trigger the effect then it's literally twice as powerful as the best ring that i have. If you can't trigger it at all and crit is awful for you then it's not amazing; that's kinda fine since it has wide application in world and dungeon content as well as a few raid fights. Having taken a closer look at it, it's quite obviously one of the better legendaries for dungeon DH and i don't think it would be trash tier for monks even if they lost the stat allocation lottery

It's actually worst than my 840 ring for WW if you can believe it. i don't think that should be the case unless your secondary stats are REALLY messed up right now. this article gives some good info on how to do WW secondary stats: http://walkingthewind.com/2016/09/14/stat-weights-and-you/ when mastery is 4500 above versatility, and versatility is 800 (or 400 for blood elf) above crit, then the value of more mastery, crit, or vers are equal. and even when that's not the case, the stats aren't so wildly different (Agility=1, HasteRating=0.46, MasteryRating=0.62, Versatility=0.53, CritRating=0.54). i've seen a lot of WW's messing this up, always gemming/enchanting for more mastery and eating mastery food when they already have so much mastery that versatility and crit are more valuable for them so in order for sephuz to be worse, ignoring its effect, and assuming your 840 ring also has a socket like sephuz does, your WW must already have a ton more crit/haste than mastery/vers. im not even sure what the math is but it'd have to be so much more crit/haste i cant even imagine it. 403 extra stats, even when some of that is haste, is super hard for WW to overcome. you'd have to have gotten so many crit/haste ilvl upgrades that you're stuck wearing if i were you i'd at least gem it and enchant it and do some 10 minute parses on the dummy, with it and without it, and see if a difference appears in the numbers. regardless, i'd absolutely wear it in dungeons and use paralysis or leg sweep every time its effect is off cooldown

Even when you get decent uptime on it, the 15% haste isn't exactly amazing for WW. When I'm going to be past the salt from getting that one, i'll agree its actually okay A burst of 4875 of any stat is very good. If you hit that at the start of a singletarget fight with cooldowns it can increase your damage dealt to the boss by ~600k to 1 million by the time that it drops off. It has the strength of three rings while the effect is on :D
