Hardy: I got convicted of beating the shit out of my girl Brady: fair enough I'm pretty sick of this argument. We have a court of law to deal with crimes. That Hardy got dick all in that is the real travesty. Harry's actions had no impact on the actual game. They are completely unrelated. In fact the nfl punishing people for out of game action is strange to begin with and has everything to do with looking good to sponsors. You can argue whether or not Brady/pat cheating actually impacted the game or if Brady specifically asked for the cheating. But they are completely incomparable with hardy. You would have to compare to spy gate. Or ped or something like that. You can compare when they get the exact same penalty. That CANNOT happen if the NFL wants to be taken seriously on any level.

I knew Brady was getting stuck with the suspension back in May.
what I'm saying is Brady and the Patriots are going to be 'guilty' no matter what, and my experience tells me to just suck it up and deal with it.

I love that the NFL gives a nice carrot to the Patriots haters with the decision. Brady supposedly "destroys" his phone every 4 months along with Giselles. This is common for public figures who want to avoid hacking scandals and often receive new ones for free simply so they can be seen using them in public. His texts to the two dorito dinks were still on their phones and available for the Wells "report". So unless the NFL thinks another party was involved this is irrelevant and simply them hoping to stem the swing of public opinion back to their side.
We are on to the injunction

He is as innocent as OJ It's not just that they can't prove it. There is no evidence that it was actually underinflated by anybody, the "scientific evidence" that they were not 12.5 comes from exponent who is currently going through two court cases for falsifying data for their clients iirc. The science is on Brady's side that nothing happened at all. Why wouldn't you fight if you did nothing wrong? With the reports of owners pressure and the way the NFL and rog-god are releasing information and selectively correcting reports/source leaks, I was told by a lawyer friend (I am not one) that a defamation case is becoming a legit case.
Honestly the NFL should postpone everything until they can collect data from the balls this season and give Brady a 50k fine, but that makes way to much sense.

lol fuck Tom Brady, he deserves it. In the grand scheme of things, it's not like a 4 game suspension should leave much of a mark on a career like Brady's, but the more Patriot's fans whine, the more likely it is that this whole overblown side-show actually sticks to the history of one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Ain't that a shame?
Let me repeat, fuck Tom Brady :D

And he's got legions of sycophants like you who pop up and then realize that they forgot to wipe off their chin. What more could a guy ask for? The dude is a GOAT; that doesn't mean he isn't also a spoiled brat who finally didn't get his way. Success is a fickle bitch, they say

Success is a fickle bitch, they say Sycophant is definitely the wrong word but sure, if you mean I think the Pats didn't do anything and are getting railroaded by one the most incompetent guys to run a league. He will get his time in court and rog-god will get a nice snarky remark from a judge saying how stupid this whole thing is and Brady won't miss a game. It's no coincidence that a lot of the support Brady is getting is coming from viking and saint fans. I'm salty towards a wannabe dictator, what are you salty towards?

lack of hip nickname notwithstanding, Goodell is a bigger piece of shit and far less accomplished

The destroyed cell phone makes it so, if there is litigation, Brady needs to not only turn over his cell phone records during the litigation, but also prove that hiding/spoiling evidence from the investigator is not, itself, grounds for suspension under the CBA. In addition to all the other things he had to prove.

Brady has given over his records to the NFL, the texts are gone. Does it look bad? Yes. They still have the texts he sent and received from the other two in question. The precedent for non-cooperation is a 50k fine (Favre sexually harassing a woman on the Jet's payroll), Brady has earned that.
Would the NFL have to let Brady's team see the interviews they denied access to from the Wells investigation that they denied on the basis of attorney client privilege? Which I would think will be an issue because Wells is an independent investigator.

The "precedent" is irrelevant. The standard Brady will have to prove is that 4 games is somehow: "arbitrary and capricious" "procured by fraud, or undue means", "contrary to public policy", "fails to draw from the CBA", or "manifest disregard for the law."
These are standards Brady simply cannot meet unless they also have a card up their sleeve. But such a card might also be grounds for a suspension.

Well in other news that should be much more important than this, Eric Berry has been cleared to practice tomorrow. I never thought he'd play another down in the NFL. I'm sure everything has taken a huge toll on his body, and I still don't see him playing this season because of it, but he'll still be on the team regardless. The moment when he's announced at the first home game is gonna be magical.
Generally when bad stuff happens to someone, it's always cliche to say stuff about how nice the guy is, how good of a person he is, how life isn't fair, etc. With Eric Berry.. everyone seems to like him. He's done a lot of stuff off the field for fans and chooses not to bring the cameras along with him since he's a pretty shy guy. I feel like for him, the cliches are absolutely true. I've never seen a fan of another team call him a dirty player. The guy is just a freaking hero and is gonna be an inspiration for any kid or adult who sadly has to fight the same problems that he has.

Looks like his lawyer's clerk and his publicist spent a fair amount of time on that :D

I'm glad to see that Giselle liked it. I wonder if it is due to their relationship-status that FB showed it, or if it is because of her fame - i.e. if someone who was more famous (say Obama) liked it, would it read "Obama and 1237189273918273 liked this"? Thus would famous people be able to have a fame-off to establish who was the most famous?

eh I mean it's certainly way more probably (even likely) than not that he at least knew about it if not directed them to do it. but they are in essence suspending him over not cooperating fully with an investigation that has no legal authority or apparently any in the cba.
as noted non cooperation as historically been a fine not 4 game suspension
