He has to do enough to outweigh the fact that he has no playoff wins let alone no rings

The next season he had 211 and 1 TD in 2 games vs ya'll. But yeah, he really brought it for the Packers.

Not even a playoff win will hurt him, as stupid as that is. But every HOF values dumb team shit like that, or longevity, over dominance a lot. It's also pretty fucking stupid imo that Marvin Harrison wasn't a no brainer. If TO isn't a 1st ballot ( he won't be of course) it is fucking stupid. Which is to say I could see the HOF making Megatron wait a bit. Andre Reed's in the fucking HOF and Marvin Harrison isn't

Andre Reed's in the fucking HOF and Marvin Harrison isn't I agreed with you fully until you made that last comment. Andre Reed absolutely deserves to be in the HOF and had to wait 9 years to get there. That said, I remember watching TO and Harrison. They, along with Moss were the 3 best receivers in the league for seemingly 5+ years, with perhaps Holt or Bruce breaking in. They should all be first ballot HOFers.

Megatron - not a 1st ballot HOFer right now. Bob Quinn - Anyone who's been a personnel guy for NE probably knows something. We'll see how that translates to coaches (at least it's probably a good sign for JC keeping his job).

They should all be first ballot HOFers. Reed made it in instead of Harrison, making Harrison no longer a first ballot - which is ridiculous considering how much of an absolute beast he was. Multiple players have named him as the hardest WR to cover in their era. His routes were insanely crisp.

Harrison wasn't flashy, but he was damn skilled and damn good. One of the best route runners ever, probably the best since Jerry Rice. He made guys look bad and they didn't even know how he did it. TO and Moss had the big personalities so they always overshadowed him, but he was right there with them. Harrison also put up these numbers playing along side another top WR in Reggie Wayne for many years. Owens never really had a guy near that level on the other side. Moss had Cris Carter, but for way less amount of time. The biggest argument against Harrison is that Peyton Manning was his QB.
