Ofcourse its too simple but it could work a bit like that. If u are in ELOhell it should not take long to get yourself above 4000 if u are truly better then your rating.

Actually, in 2500 elohell u get more points for winning then losing It seems an average of 28 points for winning and 25 for losing when on a 5-2 ratio. i assume a loss does affect you as hard as in the higher regions. Most progress will be made in the earlier matches of #roadoutofelohell. I know that elo scales and when say, above 4000 u loose more points then u will gain with a win, or thats what i have read. But i typed lets be ignorant and see a positive side to this, If your winrate is above 50% in elohell u are getting out of there pretty fast because u gain more points from 1 win then from 1 loss.

Lets be ingorant for a brief moment and assume i need to win (4000-2500)/25=60 matches more then i loose to get out of ELOhell, which we assume is above 4000. At the rate i am going atm I should reach this mark in around 60wins more / 3 wins now = 20 multiplier. 20 times 7 matches = 140 games. 21 games a week could get me there in about 2 months time, give or take ![]() Ofcourse its too simple but it could work a bit like that. A lot of pros that play support have lower ratings(and winrate) than their teams mid or carry. Quite obvious why, if you solo-q and play support you have less impact. Sure you can gank, and ward and ensure freefarm for you carry and do everything supports do but you can't win the game.

Considering that I've only played about 20 ranked games that difference seems negligible. I think the gain/loss is based mainly on the predicted outcome of the match. For example: On average my rating changes by about 23 per game. But when me and my friends met Virtus Pro, we lost only 11 rating, due to them being higher rated. Same thing when we played vs. a stack that were quite a bit lower ranked than us, where we only gained 9 rating.

Seems logical, predictions, points etc Then my theory could still stand. play 21 matches a week with descent play, which means win more then u lose and u end up in higher regions in a fairly short timespan![]()

Played a cm game against a five man stack including 2 Players of aAa and it was one of the best games I ever had. Everyone just focused on the game, tried really hard and wasnt bitching around when someone missed his spells or died for no reason. Really awesome.
