i havent followed the case that much lately but arent the protesters trying to make the democratically chosen president to step down by threatening with violence ? hard to decide on whose side i should be on this one.

sorry if im make no sense since finnish media havent covered this very well

Don't think that is a very accurate interpretation of the events to say the least. You can read about the events on wikipedia.

It's more accurate than you think. In the end one side is funded by one foreign interest, the other side is funded by another foreign interest. Meanwhile Ukraine's economy has taken a huge blow because of the unrest caused by the protests, nobody wins.

No, it is not. These are dissilussioned people who were lied to by their democratically chosen president. And they decided to take matters into their hands.

EDIT: It appears opposition rejected the offer. That was the only good decision they could make there.

This is the governments quality police, so now you can figure out how awesome their democratically chosen president is.

Edit: Not to forget this guy actually went to prison two times for robbery and assault and was charged with fraud and falsification of documents several times.

One more important notice: while Yanukovich is trying to look like he is working for a peaceful solution and compromise, in his administration a bill has been put up (which has already been leaked to the press) that aims to block the accounts of companies and organizations which are helping Euromaidan in any way. The bill is supposed to be approved on Tuesday by the pro-Presidential majority.

There are reports that Yatsenyuk has already claimed he had been shocked to be proposed a Prime Minister seat and had made it clear during the negotiations process. He was totally against making it public since such a deal was unacceptable.

Who knew massive civil unrest can get messy...
Yes he might be a democratic chosen president but these forms off protest are just another way in which the people have power over the government.
And like it or not but the power to protest and demand elections is vital in democracies.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

The government forces are making it impossible to protest and fight corruption peacefully by passing a series of ridiculous anti-protest laws. Any protester is a criminal because they made them criminals, I can understand that many feel that violent resistance is an option now, because there isn't very much else left.

"Democracy"

Being democratically elected doesn't give you the right to trample on the rights of the minority and pass all the laws you want. The right to protest is vital in any democracy and he doesn't respect it.

If this was a main movement of the populous they should protest peacefully, because they cant throw everyone in prison.
And people should also blame themselves for voting for them in the first place.

Its natural that protests to turn violent when they are ignored/declared illegal.
Its called human nature.

Like dahh, its also human nature to protest peacefully. There are numerous examples and its no justification in any way.

I would imagine it would be hard for protesters to remain peaceful when their rights are being taken away and they're being shot at, kidnapped, tortured, maimed and killed.

it's kind of hard to remain peaceful when there are radicals who want to be violent from the start anyway, and the government uses water cannons and tear gas and rubber bullets on peaceful and violent protesters indiscriminately

I could see bigger and more terrible things happening in the near future. It's not a certainty at all, but it is a possibility. A lot of successful revolutions (American, French, Russian come off the top of my head) have been led by a vocal and pissed-off minority that eventually changed the political landscape enough that people ended up having to pick a side. It seems that Euromaidan and Yanukovich's reactions to it are deteriorating in the same way.
