Trump just gonna say he didn't know about it, actually he would probably blame obama for spying on him if asked about it.
Right now, moving forwards to impeach Trump is dicey for the gop, especially for those in the house as many risk getting primaried. However, if Trump's approval rating goes down enough, it will start impacting 2018 and Republicans will start considering throwing Trump under the bus.
Edit: Watch the Senate right now, Republicans are at much higher risk there and are taking the investigation much more seriously.

Al Gore with a new global warming video. Hopefully the dumbass Trump listens.
+ Show Spoiler +

Would Al Gore run again if given the chance? And would any of you vote for him?

There is a zero percent chance that any Republican will sign on to global man-made climate change until the sea levels rise to their front door.

You don't believe in global warming? It must suck to have no appreciation for science.

So let's say Trump actively conspired with the Russians, will he get impeached? Pence seems like an easily controllable president. Once it becomes clear Trump will never be reelected and will never give the GOP what they think they want, why not make Pence president?

Yeah, if the people who pay you make that pay dependent on you believing something, people are very good at believing that thing.

al gore exaggarates global warming to an extreme level and all the claims in his videos are just complete bogus. Trump is right when it comes to global warming. Let science fix the "problem" that no one knows if its a problem or not just that we dont know how global warming affects earth.

Don't worry everyone, the invisible hand will fix global warming for us. Its handy that way.

Who needs science? Let's believe in unicorns.

Haha April Fool's, right? Right? Please say you're joking...
On that same note:
For April Fools' Day, the Russian Foreign Ministry put out an "official joke" where an automated recording tells callers to press 1 for "a call from a Russian diplomat to your political opponent." You can press 2 "to use the services of Russian hackers," or 3 "to request election interference."

Did you see Al Gore's previous movie? Millions were supposed to be dead by raising sea level last year. How many did die? Many people ACTUALLY die from poverty every year, and "green" measures are usually a break to economic growth, specially on poor nations that rely on fossil fuels.
There is a world of difference between saying global warming is an issue to adress and herp derp capitalism is bad, stop using oil, screw consequences. Eviromental "protection" trough government regulations has some VERY real consequenses that should not be ignored.
Exaggerating global warming to non-sense levels is the best way to take away the credibility it should have.
Edit:
As my friend xDaut would point out, liberals pushing the enviromental agenda should focus on actual arguments instead of insulting people that do not share their opinion that we are all going to die in X years; repiting "do you not believe in facts?" "99% of scientist agree" ad nauseum is not an argument. Exactly the same way they should have argued Trump's points instead of calling him a racist bigot non-stop.

What actual arguments do you suggest pro-climate science people use to debate climate deniers when they refuse to engage with the vast majority of climate science?

First of all, there's plenty of evidence that human-accelerated global warming has attributed to an increase in countless problems for humans (natural disasters, rising water levels, extreme heat, patterns of infection) that literally add up to millions of human deaths each year, to say nothing of the plants and animals that are disappearing: http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs266/en/
Second, it's still inappropriate to compare Gore to Trump in terms of ignorance, especially when it comes to global warming. There is a huge difference between potentially exaggerating some statistics and flat-out denying the very existence of the climate change crisis that we're having. And for the deniers that roll their eyes at words like "crisis" and thinks the scientific community is just overreacting, don't be surprised when those deniers are called idiots.

There is literally zero justification for the Trump/Republican position on global warming.
I'll give you the science. I'll give you Al Gore. I'll concede any point you want to make, really (not sincerely, but for the sake of argument. Because educating people on science that don't want to be educated on science is kind of exhausting, isn't it?).
It's still wrong to take the Republican position. Even if you think burning the world's fossil-fuels (made from fossils, a million-to-billion year process) will not irrevocably harm the environment and the future of mankind, you're still just essentially arguing a completely selfish and ignorant position.
Because NO ONE can deny that fossil-fuels are a limited resource. You're saying, "don't worry about it, just burn it". So, just let future generations worry about what to do when it runs out? Uhhh... how about "no", Mr. Oil Executive?
Even if you take the environmental science out of the equation (because that's responsible...), you're still advocating for the right of your generation to simply abandon all responsibility for future generations. Regardless of the environment, we should be doing EVERYTHING we can to look for and use alternative energy sources. Scientific skepticism is fine, even if its unwarranted, but this is not just science. This is about pure, simple, fucking greed, versus constraint and responsibility. What the hell does "conservative" mean?
edit: with that said, the notion that scientists are lying to us, in some vast global conspiracy, and in doing so, are agitating the world's most powerful industry, is just sooooooooo fucking absurd. "Let's make grant money by telling the world's richest people to abandon their most profitable resource." Right...

More fun info on the alternative fact/ April Fool's joke that climate change is a hoax that doesn't need to be taken seriously:
Twenty governments commissioned an independent report in 2012 from the group DARA International to study the human and economic costs of climate change. It linked 400,000 deaths worldwide to climate change each year, projecting deaths to increase to over 600,000 per year by 2030. When scientists attribute deaths to climate change, they don't just mean succumbing to a heat wave or, as Huckabee put it, to sunburn. Heat waves kill many, to be sure, but global warming also devastates food security, nutrition, and water safety. Since mosquitoes and other pests thrive in hot, humid weather, scientists expect diseases like malaria and dengue fever to rise. Floods threaten to contaminate drinking water with bacteria and pollution.
When the report looked at the added health consequences from burning fossil fuels—aside from climate change—the number of deaths jumps from 400,000 to almost 5 million per year. https://newrepublic.com/article/121032/map-climate-change-kills-more-people-worldwide-terrorism
A report commissioned by the governments of more than 20 countries found that more than 100 million people will die as a result of climate change by 2030 if the world stays on its current path. https://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2012/09/27/report-100-million-could-die-from-climate-change-by-2030
