Blizzard did the right move and I appreciate that they suspend guys like you who are killing fun for others. Do you people even read the op's? This guy wasn't the one talking, it was his random 2v2 teammate. edit: looks like everyone has flayed CallmeMuppet already, blam my post on my slow reading

You are right, there's little we can do. Ban is lifted, since it was for 24h, its such a minor punishment there's no sense in wasting ur time proving to them they were wrong. They would blame everything on computers anyways.

Blizzard tech support can be pretty nice sometimes.. I would probably do this. If you do something wrong in the future they might give out harsher punishment if they think it's a repeat offense.

Since it looks obviously like a copy-paste from their bnet module that registers all the in-game chat (which btw raises the question - do they also archive all the chat on bnet?) it must be a result of that module's malfunction. Yes, you paid for the product, but you allowed them ban you at any time when you clicked on the "I accept" button on the Terms of Use. I'm not saying I agree that they should have banned you, but I agree that they have the right to ban you. And it's like a hotel, or a school. You may have paid to get in, but break the rules and you're out. Just because you paid to stay doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. Having to pay to go to school... Man, that is sad. Not really a good analogy.

1) If you have the ability to ban, and you have the resources to review material being submitted for a banning, you should use your banning powers responsibly. 2) If an error occurs after the ban, response time to the user who has PAID for the product should be timely, especially if they submit documentation neatly. I hope that Blizzard is quick to act on your ticket.

Bnet is a online service just like steam or facebook. If you bresk the rules they have the right to ban you. It's nothing like owning a car.

If it happens to enough people then spreading the word can cause us to collectively get Blizzard to change... okay maybe not any time soon but at least eventually, like after we complained for a year about the map pool. I don't think this happens to very many people, but it's not totally useless to let the community know about SC2 related problems.
