SC2 I pay beforehand. So in fact for me its more like owining a car than a service. No if you want a nice car comparison its more like buying a car and then complaining you need to buy gas. "I already payed for my car, why doesn't it drive without gas?" Battenet was announced ages before release so you have zero excuse you didn't knew beforehand you had to use it and therefore accept the terms of agreement.

No, your example would be right if I am complaining about paying an internet connection needed to play. That's why also ON each software package tehy state that further costs may occur. As there are stated further costs for monthly memberships on WOW packages. However I am not complaining about costs, I am complaining about the right to USE a paid product.

and then immediately say you hate that companies "try to censor things they don't like" which is...the exact same you just agreed to. even if the thing was someone else's quote and not yours. you aren't complaining about them fucking up. you're complaining about their policy as a private company that you also say you understand and agree to follow. i dont understand the purpose of this.

You bought sc2, not battlenet i am afraid. if 1 can't work without the other, well that is how it was designed.

If I may suggest that you bold out the part about how it wasn't you, or reformat it to place it near the top. Your post is a little longwinded and it's easy to miss the part about how it wasn't you who typed those idiotic words.

Assuming the information in OP is correct ofc. Also, what is a nopob? Something you eat?

You should put that as a title, and then again in the middle of the screen with bold and underline, so people don't get confused. Don't be too harsh on Blizzard though - yeah, they screwed up, they probably handle thousands such tickets daily and something went wrong with that replay so their parser got your teammate's lines as if they were said by you. At least the ban was only 48 hours, so your account is currently playable. I guess you could ask Blizzard for some kind of redemption though, like a free special decal or the custom thor etc.

And because of this the EULA cannot be legally binding unless you can get your money back guaranteed after declining it without any extra costs. By the way I'd just contact support with the replay

But that doesn't even matter really when even if it's true it's just a fricking mistake that can happen and at least the warning or whatever the guy got on his account can easily be revoked by another mail to the customer service. Instead of doing that and waiting a couple days however the OP decides to create another drama thread on TL because why not. "You got banned….or why a company should not play p" Whatever the complete title was supposed to be this seems like a cheap attempt to discuss something that really doesn't seem to be problematic. If Blizzard was well known for constantly banning the wrong people, sure, but that's not the case as far as I'm aware.

Having said that though I am pleased to see that they are actually doing something about this at all. I these days tend to avoid the NA server as that one is especially bad mannered. I don't mind the occasional trash talking but keep the racism and stuff at home.

So you think I deserve my ban right? Am I the only one noticing that while there is careful insertion of "." within the insults, to not make the mature language filter block them, but in the screenshots there isn't? As I don't really see any reason why Blizzard employees should insert those afterwards the whole story in the OP is kinda fishy for me... Or is there anything about the mature language filter I don't know about? Seems more like, as some guys already said, that the text in the replay was altered afterwards.

Now all that's left is 27 more pages of reading comprehension failure and opinions on the matter. Let us know how you get on with the appeal process, though. I don't know whether Blizzard keeps track of offences or not, so it would be good to find that out, too.

Of course if you didn't say that and is actaully innocent then bilzzard is wrong and should look over their bans. That said I don't get how they would do such a mistake... How is that even possible? I mean I have heard of EAs similar bans but I don't even think they are real. That said... On March 27 2012 23:43 lukasdesign wrote: Maybe you think I am overreacting, but I am seriously upset of being accused of such a behavior. I don't get how you can be upset of being accused of such behavior if it is a fact that you actually can be rather BM... I mean you actually admit that you say "fu*k you 4 gater" from time to time... Anyway if you didn't say it and blizzard say that that is the reason to why you are banned it is wrong. I don't however think it is wrong for them to ban people from multiplayer who are BM or cheat. Edit: oh and implosion. Nice catch... I'm sorry lukasdesign. But you just lost all credibility in my eyes.
