Hi TL
I know the question is not clear, so here it is again:
Let's pick a sport....lets say football (soccer).
We all know pro athletes are very busy, training almost 7 days a week. However, what I want to know is: do they only train with the club (running, gym etc.) Or can they decide to do what they want ? (Such as boxing for cardio, etc.)
So, are they restricted to only working out with the club, or can they also choose to do ,say, boxing for cardio, ? They should be allowed to since boxing also benefits soccer (stamina-wise)
Let me know what you think.
Thanks

Alot of sports team include in contracts what athletes can and cannot do, due to possible injury. Alot of teams and clubs own gyms or have trainers that help with conditioning. Above that, many athletes join smaller, more private coaches (for strength, conditioning etc), in which they do different workouts.
Here is a video of a pro hockey camp in canada. They all belong to different teams but sign up with training teams etc.
