Hi everyone, so I just got a problem today as the title says. My pc (win 7) makes continously sounds which sounds like a "beep". Through the Volume Mixer I found out that the problem come from the "system sounds". Is it possible that there is a problem with my ram or fan ? If yes can I fix it by myself ?
Thanks in advance

Is it the mainboard making this sounds? If so, you can look up what they mean.

Like the motherboard, where all your stuff is attached. Does the sound come from your speakers or your pc?

Is it beeping nonstop no matter what program you have open or what button you are holding? Is everything working fine other than the sound? Are your monitor and applications running fine?

the beep is non stop without doing anything everything else is working

My two cents are going to be either that there is a malware/virus problem in your computer, or that something is wrong with your sound card. Your best option right now would be to system restore back to a point where the sound was not working (try one week ago?).
What operating system are you using? EDIT: Nvm its in the OP

Most likely an error beep telling you that something is wrong, most likely a missing fan header or fan speed is too slow... ?
If so, you can just disable the error beeps by going to Sounds and setting Default Beep to none and clicking apply.

So did that solve the beeping or not? The beeping can be a result of a million different things.

Yeah, I'm thinking maybe a stuck key on your keyboard.
