1) Major point, girls have to give birth and go through "special" puberty. That may be true, however my counter argument is that boys get into fights, and the average boy fights a few times in his school life. The pain will add up where it is greater than birth pain, also including that fighting-pain hurts one mentally as well as physically, while birth gives you a happy mentality.
You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about with this point.
Not only do the majority of boys not get in fights, scientists have actually come up with a numerical way to rate pain. Take a guess at what comes first (bonus points for what comes 2nd). It's absolutely pathetic to say that we have to go through anything like birth in terms of physical pain.
2) Boys are more "free" to do stuff. Boys can read comics, play games, and do other stuff while girls would be called a nerd/geek. Girls can dress more freely, as any color may be fine on them. Boys are limited from certain colors. Girls can act completely more freely, and express their thoughts, run around and yell, without being called a sissy.
Uh, boys are called the same exact thing if they do that. In fact, girls that do "nerdy/geeky" stuff are practically worshiped.
3) It's easier for girls to lead boys than for boys to lead girls. No though counter argument for that.
Could you elaborate on this one?
4) Girls are more allowed to express their feelings. While girls cry, some guys will actually come to support and assist you, while if a guy cries, some people will "show" some sorry, however will not show as much affection.
True.
5) Marital issues. If a married couple divorces, the female gets half the money. No counter argument for that.
Do you have any idea about how marriage actually works?
6) As said, women can speak for freely. Girls can say "I'll get my girlfriends" while if a guy was to say "boyfriend," it wouldn't be right. =D Boys however, are allowed to cuss a bit more frequently, though this may not be that big of a deal to success in life.
I don't see an actual point here.
7) Guys need to be more academically advanced, while girls rely on beauty. Vice versa in both ways, as long as guy's are completely ugly, girls should like them for their knowledge/money later on. As long as the girl isn't completely stupid, guys would like her if she's hot.
Girls are also paid less on average and are at a disadvantage (in terms of perception) when you are talking about an academically demanding job (something that included a graduate degree for example).

Hard to say since I've never been a girl. Both have their ups and downs.
I think your list is a bit superficial though. I mean, weighing the pain of getting in a few school fights vs the pain of child birth? I think those are both fairly trivial in the light of one's general life unless there are complications during child birth.
And a few of those things would apply more if it was 1950 instead of 2010.
Also, I think the question "who has it easier in life" isn't specified enough. Are you asking who has an easier time to live a fulfilling life or who can get through without having too much crap to deal with.

imho, men have it easier, and a lot easier.
I feel a lot of people think girls have it easier in life because they have more options when it comes down to getting laid, while that may be true (only until they are 30, MAX; then it's total reverse) to some degree, that's only a minute facet of life. Societies (speaking from experience: NA and Asia, extrapolating this to be true elsewhere as well) in general heavily favour men.
Also, even when it comes down to relationships, men are typically the aggressive one, so you actually have more options (whether they reject you is another story).

this op is too broad and the discussions are too broad.. there should be more options or it should be divided in years, emotional satus, social status, and work/jobs..

^^ There is no answer for that. What you are asking is "Which gender of child would I love more"? Which child do I want to have the greater happiness. I have no clue since I don't have children. If I was absolutely forced into a decision, I would probably want my daughter to do better academically. My son can man-up and live his life like a man regardless of the hardships thrown at him. A Daughter I would want educated so she doesn't fall into the "get married out of high school have kids as an uneducated person and then rely on me for financial support for the rest of her life".
Also, what did those questions have to do with my previous answer?

What comes second? I'd guess "losing a loved one", but not sure if this scale measures emotional pain.

These factors listed all seem pretty damn biased and stereotypical. I personally agree with them for the most part, but:
2) Boys are more "free" to do stuff. Boys can read comics, play games, and do other stuff while girls would be called a nerd/geek. Girls can dress more freely, as any color may be fine on them. Boys are limited from certain colors. Girls can act completely more freely, and express their thoughts, run around and yell, without being called a sissy. Boys can be called nerds for playing games and reading comics too, you know. And both girls and guys hide gaming to avoid this treatment. Later in life, "color" issues fade away: they're only really strong in what, elementary to early high school at latest?
3) It's easier for girls to lead boys than for boys to lead girls. No though counter argument for that. Are you saying that guys can't lead girls as easily? I've seen guys lead on girls so many times, and the problem is that most of the girls don't get over it as well as guys who have been used do as well. Not saying that its easier for men to be sluts and using women as well as the other way around, but it is definitely there, and it shouldn't just be said that there is "No though counter argument for that".
But for the purposes of the thread, I'd say girls. Men still have more freedom, especially in third world countries, but as the world gets increasingly developed, the "protect the women" feel keeps strong, while their rights and overall treatment seems to be on the rise.

That's interesting... Would've never thought of that one.

I can piss standing up and that bring me happiness every day, especially at the movie theaters and big public events.

I don't want to get into other things because well... I'm not a girl so I cant speak for those BUT I will say that academia is easier for girls because there are a lot less girls that enter into it than guys. Sure less girls enter into academia, but those that do enter have it easier because generally colleges, schools, and institutions are more inclined to accept girls and underrepresented minorities into academia when possible.

I think overall, with our current society, it's relatively equal.
Girls have a distinct advantage in certain social situations. Sexual discrimination awareness has gotten to the point where men can have their lives ruined for looking at a woman the wrong way. Girls also get the pick (generally) concerning relationships (although this has a biological basis as well). They also get to be more free in terms of flirting, and they can rely on this and looks for several things in life.
That said, they have to put up with discrimination of many, many types in society + giving birth, and men don't go through anything that can compare to that shit. Be glad we don't.

What do you mean by academia? Because it's been shown that girls tend to graduate high school more often and with higher grades, and college glasses almost always have slightly more women than men.

That depends heavily on the country over here, girls are over represented.

Well academia refers to getting professorship etc or engineering, biology etc etc. Being a teacher ironically is not considered "academia." Most professors and people at the head of science are men, and it's known that women and underrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply for those positions (as stated in fellowship and medschool apps) I'm not saying women are any less smart, hell my gf is smarter than me xD But I'm just saying generally in high positions in academia, philosophy, the majority are men.
