It is a well made fake, but its not hard to fake stuff that has already been seen.
Nah, I don't believe that they've not started printing yet.
it's only 23 days, and they sure got loads of copies to print, so I do guess printing is already going on. But even if not, as so many people said, there could be prototype packages and whatnot been given out, I'm pretty sure it's a legit thing.

The new Gamer generation was brought up on medals, trophies, and cool achievements! Although your post is horribly written, I get what you are saying. It's just the experience gap between gamers who care to those who don't give a crap. Newbs love shiny stuff. This is retarded. Some people are into extra challenges/things to collect or complete, others aren't. I don't know why so many people here need to make it known that *they* don't give a fuck about achievements -- no one cares if you don't. They're a nice thing to do, and hopefully they'll have creative achievements. There are people who like long-term progress, in a way achievements are very much an RPG-type thing. SC1 BNet had no achievements, WC3 BNet had unlockable icon tiers and levels (sc had rating but..that ladder was a joke) which made it much more interesting. If you're not into achievements, okay. No need to diss them. They aren't solely for newbs, plenty of competitive players will be into them.
I completely agree, im 23 and in no way consider myself new generation. and i dont see a problem with achievements at all, they arent being forced on us in any intruding way, it just adds more to an existing product, besides everyone is gonna end up with all these portraits and the like eventually anywho, me unlocking them slightly faster then the nabbs is just a bonus

Seems legitimate, there is no reason why someone couldn't have a copy now.
|
this isnt up on torrents yet , anyway if blizzard is smart it should be unhackable until the release date so any leak is useless
|
This guy should leak the files out for spoilers to fansites. Nah, that wouldn't be cool and I'd feel bad for Blizzard.

hope there will be .iso on net for people who purchase key only few days before release
|
You can't only purchase a key. No DD until a few months after release. I really hope Blizz secured this well.
|
seeing the contents of that artwork book I might actually go for the coll edition
|
Im quite disapointed with u guys. you say things about piracy crack the game etc etc and the most awesome thing no one talks about (and its not really warez cause it wont be for sale i think) the dvd documentary! Gief!

that's wrong. there are some stores, that will send you a key per mail on release date. but they wont send you the game box per mail, later :-( and they provide a download right before 27.07.

Rough translation of the audio: A: Did you buy it yourself, or is it preordered from the internet or something? B: I bought it myself, from a friend, from this <name>, his dad works in the company where they print it.

I foresee someone getting fired in the near future.

I doubt it, happens all the time.
Anybody else notice the version number on the video?
15409?
16409?
or
19409?
I can't make out that first digit. Enhance the image! xD

This could also be a blizzard viral marketing idea : ) There are known artists in the music industry who leak one of the songs of their upcoming albums themselves so people get the taste of it.

That's funny since I get a 3:1 win loss ratio in diamond league easily and had rank 1 2v2 3v3 teams with 30-2 records and such. My first competitive game was wc2 on kali when it was played on Cases ladder. You wouldn't know anything about that would you because your a "newbie gamer" and think there was nothing before bnet.
You guys need to get your head out of your asses and realize some people just like those mini goals to accomplish. In fact it's the OLD gamer that likes achievements more than the newer gamer. Back when I played as a kid we used to try to beat contra without dying once or beat a game by just using the weakest weapon available. This was before online multiplayer was such a requirement among games and before you could go online and just download walkthroughs or get tips and hints to beat a game. Today those would be achievements and it's probably why I enjoy them so much.

Can someone explain how does the date protection work, where from does it determine and approve the allowable date to be installed?
Because first thing to my ordinary user mind comes is unplugging your internet cable to remove any connection with timing servers and roll forth the pc clock through bios.
EDIT: I think I found the answer - SC2 requires internet to run.

for me you are a new generation... thats what we talk about. new portraits? if i have 100 i take the one they gave me. i want to play sc dont look at protraits or medals.
do you feel prowd when you see a picture that says you completed singelplayer? is it importand for you that other people know what mission you played? does it make fun to look on medal-pictures? i just dont get it.

so if the game wont allow you to install before the 27th why then will pre pre orders be recieved the day before activasion? This seems silly to me!
