You know what, when WC3 RoC came out not everyone could complete it on Hard for example. And those who did were the best players I known.
At the same time I played AvP all this time until got my hands on SC2 beta (which I was waiting for a long time and played enough BW beforehand since it's release). So, AvP has this achievement completing the game on Nightmare difficulty as every race, marine is absolutely hardcore. It's plainly nuts at moments. If I recall right on steam stats less than 0.5% of everyone who has game and is registered on steam has it.
You can't imagine how good you feel not just from having the achievement, but having actually achieved that. That's really a feat and that medal feels great.
Of course there are extremely casual achievements, but those who make you sweat and think how to get them are great to get.

It's not silly You can launch the game the moment official date starts. You don't have to go to the store, wait for someone to deliver it (if you have it already). Worldwide official launch date and you don't need to experience any wait.

Wait a second... on that video he just clicks it and that's what it said?
Take your Cat5 out and change your system clock to 7/28.. and install, no?

because you can have a go at it at midnight, and not wait for stores to open or the postman to arrive.

You have to be logged into bnet to play single player.

Maybe rated T for teen is an american thing.

The CE artowork might not have been final at the time - the game was not rated yet maybe.

I thought you didn't have to be logged in to play, you just won't get the achievements and such? Wasn't there a point made by blizzard to be able to access the game during downtime in some medium aside from UMS @ Map editor?
But, otherwise for first time installation you probably need some sort of connection to Battle.net. Who knows.

Extract the MPQ's and upload all the cut-scenes :D

Its this the first time you play it you need to log in for the instalation proccess to continue. After that you can play off line you just dont get achievements etc.

This is a pretty good guess, even so.. if it is real and the iso will be up on torrent sites.. REMEMBER to support blizzard and buy the retail version,it's a lifetime of work they put in!!

Totally normal. For every game I've worked on, we've always sent a nice fancy copy to every reviewer and employee who worked on it before the ship date. That's undoubtedly what this is.

They may have already started distributing copies to retailers. It's quite simple to make the copies useless. Just encrypt critical game files and publish the key on July 27th. Actually this setup would make a lot of sense; they offload storage and security costs to the retailers.

Fyi, the last producer who said they had an uncrackable game, it was cracked within a week... *cough* Assassins Creed *cough*
SC2 will be out within the week, once this gets leaked out to the p2p-networks and the pirategroups gets a hold of a copy.

Going to leave this open until we can confirm or deny it's legitimacy. Strong multiplayer games dont have anything to consider about ,
So there might be a crack tomorrow , or at the 28 of july it doesnt really matter , those of us who already decided to buy the game they will , all other will have simply ignore it anyway.

my goodness...when i saw the collectors addiction sitting on that bed i jammed my fingers trying to grab that Box through my monitor...Apparently this awesome game makes you do irrational things :/....
But anyhow thanks for posting this....the Set looks...to kill for...
