I hope they fix scv not being able to move away from buildings and ghost firing when on stop and invisible.

I like the new high-ground thing.

edit: wait what do you mean fix tvp? nerf toss even more? PvZ is hard enough as it is.

TvP/PvT is pretty borked as of now, it always ends up in all-in builds from either side, and if it isn't an all-in build it's really difficult for terran when P reaches storm.

T shouldn't be broken as easily as they are all the time by 4 warpgate play.

They're probably going to nerf Warpgates soonish.

You can stop the ghost from firing when invisible - it has an on/off switch; I think the hotkey is F.

Aside from blistering fucking sands.. I don't feel like TvP is imbalanced once you reach midgame or anything, it's just hard as hell to properly scout or prepare for all the protoss possibilities (4 warpgate, 3 warpgate+robo, expo with warp gates, fast void ray, fast dt, fast colossus, warp prism+warp gates etc... there's just a lot of stuff and you can't reliably scout).
Moderatortell the guy that interplanatar interaction is pivotal to terrans variety of optionitudals in the pre-midgame preperatories as well as the protosstinal deterriggation of elite zergling strikes - Stimey n | Formerly FrozenArbiter

All Zotac replays are pretty much these "cheesy" 4 warpgate builds as well, i'd really like to see standard play become more dominant, it's really hard to play safe with the current high ground mechanics =/

wisdom, but blistering fucking sands is still around and we can't do shit about it. Also, a lot of tournaments have blistering as the first map of the tour in bo1's and that's just a pain. Just get rid of the map already, jesus.

what do you mean? You can move away from a building thats being constrcuted if thats what you mean. 1st cancel lets the scv go, second cancel destroys the building.

couldn't help notice that this is pretty much the exact same situation for ZvT

sooooo many openings pretty much every unit besides the siege tank and raven can be rushed to and be used very effectively vs zerg and it's pretty tough to prepare for all possible possibilities given the often limited information

1 fac builds are REALLY good vs 4 warp gate builds (like, really, really, really good). They are also REALLY REALLY REALLY terrible vs void ray builds and I don't think you can do them on blistering sands (backdoor ahoy) or kulas ravine (blink just kills you 100% of the time).

1 rax FE into mass marines/bunkers is safe, but again - cannot be used on Kulas, Blistering. Probably cannot be used on desert oasis but that map plays really differently anyway.

I dunno much about banshee first builds, seems that would die vs void ray as well.

Actually it's okay given you have fast access to vikings and most protoss only do 1 stargate for void rays.

But 1 charged void ray > 2 vikings -_- I mean, I tried to go straight to reactor vikings (reactor made @ rax) today and it just killed both vikings lol

And before you KNOW he's going void ray, you've already started a banshee...

Yea the message is indeed still there.

Vikings outrange void rays though, i do believe with a bit of kiting you can force him to either focus something else or lose his charge and the vikings will kill em.
Not totally sure about this, my friend plays terran though and says it's a bit unreliable.

Anyway, it should be possible to pump enough vikings out of 2 starports to kill of any void rays a protoss will throw at you. Anyway, if a protoss has gone void ray that will leave his base quite vulnerable to the banshee harass as well, again, when the terran base is vulnerable to void ray, and the protoss base to banshee... Well random things start happening :S

I'm just not sure - as soon as the void ray hits you ONCE you cannot run away... So, ehhhhhhh maybe it's possible but I really wouldn't count on it - everytime you turn around you slow down and the void ray is as fast as a viking.....

Aren't vikings faster than void rays? Not quite sure, anyway, 6-8 marines should be enough to take care of the void ray in that case? It always seems to be marines that shut down my void ray harass the few times i've done it.
