[H] Replay Desync

I'm trying to watch some old replays from previous patches, and and after the game exits and loads the replay in the older version, the game just pops up a 'Replay Desync' message and prompts me to leave the game.

It has only happened recently and I've never had this error until now. Does anyone know of or have experienced this?

it's probably because shit doesn't make sense anymore. Almost all terran buildings take different time to build. So when a banshee rush came out at 5 minutes on the dot, now it actually came out at like 4:20 and unit compositions are different etc.

I believe this happens because partly the game reports itself to battle.net even while watching a replay what happens when replay gets desynced is that either the computer or the server is going too slow and now it doesn't match up. I only had this happen to me once when i was speeding though a replay at x6 without packet monitoring i can't say much more on what is going on.

I was having this same problem and RiGun up top hit the nail on the head. If you modded your SC2 with the more advanced AI it will not allow replays to function. Easiest way to fix the problem is either have some kind soul send you the original AI file or reinstall SC2 beta in another folder and just copy the original AI file over.

AI File: C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod\Base.SC2Data
