Legit key holders can't even log in since the latest patch, and I get the same error as them while trying to watching offline replays. I say give it time to really see if the update disabled offline replays.

2. Enter either "Recent", "Multiplayer" or other folder here to find the actual replays. 3. Double-click on a replay, this should open the Windows dialogue called "Open with..." 4. Do not pick any item in the list, "Browse" for your StarCraft II installation folder (XP standard: "C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta"). 5. Select "Always use this program" and then press "OK". http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=23425633734&sid=5010

i cant really see blizz doing this especially since during the cracking process to get the replays they left stuff in there as a type of joke almost since they knew crackers would be raping it in other words, they expected it to be cracked so i dont see this actually happening

I'm not certain, but I thought I was able to watch some replays while offline (no network connectivity) a few days ago...someone confirm or deny? I have pulled the plug on my internet every time I opened SCII to watch replays, since I didn't want it phoning home for any reason. There's no reason for this not to still be able to be done unless you download the patch. Although, now that I think of it, replays from the new patch might be incompatible with the old version :/ we'll see.

I created a Replays folder with Multiplayer subfolder and stored replay files there. Now dragging a rep over SC2 executable enabled Open With function of Windows which started the game and bypassed logging in but didn't start the replay. I could open the replays submenu however, and after selecting one replay the game detected that the replay was from previous version. Big surprise - it asked if I wished to logout from battle.net and boot up previous SC2 version to watch it, and one OK button after that and a game reboot the replay worked. Worked for me also, can someone post a new replay so I can see if that works?
