Is it that the shuttles can just walk to bisu's base without having a hard time because of the ridge that blinds the pylons from seeing the oncoming shuttle? Your rally point is generally to your nat, and if Bisu wants to harass Stork's main he has to take a REALLY long way round (while the nat, is obviously well defended by stork's main army). Oh another thing to take into account is who gets to attack from the "right angle", but I haven't played PvP in so long that I've forgotten the good angles for reavers LOL!

Is it that the shuttles can just walk to bisu's base without having a hard time because of the ridge that blinds the pylons from seeing the oncoming shuttle? Look at the layout of Shades of Twilight...from the top right position, you can put goons at your natural and defend from drops to both your nat and your main coming from the bottom right position. To drop the top right main from the bottom right, you have to go all the way around to the center of the map, and even then when you unload in the left of the top right main, you're not within striking distance of the mineral line. Now compare that ordeal to dropping the bottom right main from the top right: you fly straight down, over your natural, over those ridges where your shuttle can't get shot at, and then unload right on top of the main mineral line.

Do you really underestimate what an advantage this is? Bisu has to guard two fronts (and 3 later on when he expos to 6) and the distance between the two is certainly longer than Stork's. More reaction time is definitely a great advantage.

IE it had an exaggerating effect on the game. On June 10 2009 15:13 SilverSkyLark wrote: Ooohh, now to put that into use...thanks guys... I can also use that on Byzantium.. The first thing that came to my mind was that "hey, this is kinda like what IdrA was complaining about on Medusa TvT" (I forget when, maybe it was 3 player maps in general).
