Stork completely out played Bisu in that game, the starting locations had little to do with it. Bisu had goons in position during those drops and couldn't defend.

So what if he had good map position? It couldn't have made that much of a difference. He destroyed Bisu in almost every facet of the game. Harass? Check. Battle micro? Check. The guy played superb. The difference in the play of their games was just so staggering. The guy played on top of his game.

right battle micro. i guess if you have more units you have better battle micro right

Perhapes you didn't see the stork double storm that killed 6 goons or the superior reaver micro.

Face it, stork played BETTER THAT GAME.

Bisu fans scare me.

Jeezus christ, can't the fucking Birdtoss get some fucking credit for playing well? People need to admit that Bisu clearly got outplayed no matter if map helped in that equation. The guy had some pretty subpar reaction time on some of those storm drops and clearly just couldn't get anything going.

I dont think 0-2 will dent Bisu's self confidence.

he has a lot of it...and he's still very very good.

This is assuming he loses against Jangbi which I don't see happening.

This was confusing...

ACE game = a game involving an Air Force ACE player
ACE match = a match involving Air Force ACE
ace match = no sensical meaning
ace game = the Xth set in a BoX PL match

Bisu fans scare me.

Stork had more units, better position, and unlike Bisu he was aware the battle was about to take place (had an observer over bisu's army as he moved out).

Stork played better that game but I wouldn't say "superior battle micro" played any part in that, at all.

I like Bisu, I don't mind Stork, but this has nothing to do with either - I'd like to think that I'd realize the same thing if the positions were reversed.

I mean, my first thought when watching the game was "wow stork is just kicking the crap out of Bisu", but then I realized how annoying the positions must be for the player at 5, and realized why it was soooo one-sided.

Stork played better. End of story.

I already said map positions had LITTLE to do with it but Stork executed flawlessly. Yea that means playing better.

And why do you think he "destroyed Bisu" in harass?

Guys, this isn't that hard to comprehend: Stork did a beautiful job of abusing his positional advantage to a win. He played excellently. Bisu probably should have devised some strategy that would keep him in the game from these starting positions, but it's not like he played like crap in that game. Stork just played better, and the positions gave him a boost.

I agree. The positions gave him a boost, but I have to say stork just outplayed bisu.

What's funny is that the commentator just said "Stork had the better spawn position, and he used it to his advantage"

To sum it up: yes, Stork had a better position.

Stork used it to his advantage, and one must not overshadow Stork's great execution "just because" of spawn position.

I totally agree.

And read FA's post above, that's what I was getting at with my question before...

Uhm what's with the positions..? really..
Is it that the shuttles can just walk to bisu's base without having a hard time because of the ridge that blinds the pylons from seeing the oncoming shuttle?

I'm not complaining really, Stork played fucking awesome, but it became clear pretty fast where the game is going because of the positions
