Effort > Bisu. To me, it looks like Heartbreak Ridge favors Zerg. Also, Effort has been playing fabulously, while Bisu doesn't seem 100% confident against Zerg anymore. Skyhigh > Best. Terrans seem to have Destination figured out. Play defensive, lock up their half of the map, make Protoss throw themselves against a static hard defense, and bleed them out. Kwanro > Hyuk. Micro, micro, micro. CJ 3:0 SKT. I am hoping SKT will make it a good battle though.

![]() ![]() I actually think this is the closest call of the night. EffOrt has been playing so lights out lately (and momentum is worth so much in PL, as both CJ and T1 have shown us in R4) but anyone who says Bisu isn't confident in his PvZ is a fool. PvZ is and forever will be Bisu's forte, and Bisu has been generally monstrous lately. EffOrt is on his way to joining JD, Luxury, Yarnc, and ZerO as a "legitimate contender" Zerg, but he's still not good enough to beat Bisu. ![]() ![]() I'll be honest: this is a fanboy vote. sKyHigh is the younger, hotter, fresher, more creative player in this game. But I still don't think he's the better player. BeSt's TvP is still monstrous and you have to think he's practicing his ass off for this game - practicing matchups is what BeSt does, that's why he failed hard at WL but also why he beasts under the PL format. sKyHigh can only win this game with a creative opening that gives him a massive advantage, because one the late-game sets in I have full faith that BeSt's superior macro and mechanics will take over this contest. ![]() ![]() The result of this game depends largely on which Kwanro shows up to play: aggressive Kwanro or stupidly aggressive Kwanro. Despite his awful history in televised games Hyuk should not be underestimated, his strength has always been ZvZ and the fact that he's coming out instead of Thezerg (given Thezerg's beastly performance lately) is indication he has been holding his own in practice. As always with ZvZ between mediocre players, this one is hard to call. But my gut says if Hyuk is sitting on a comfortable 2-0 lead, he can pull a win here. I don't expect all of my predictions to be right - a sweep by either team is unlikely simply given how close each of these matchups looks (and plus, it'd be sort of disappointing). But I do think T1 has a little edge in each of the match's four sets (Fantasy has to be the match's biggest favorite, over Movie on a dropship-friendly map). If this goes to ace - which seems appropriate considering how hot both of these teams are lately - I think T1 will send Bisu. I'm not sure CJ has any answers for KTY on Outsider - Zergs don't seem to be very popular on this map, and they wouldn't want to feed Bisu one anyway. That eliminates a good chunk of their lineup. I think they'll have either Iris or Much practicing specifically to play against Protoss on this map. Too bad neither of them is a good pick over Bisu...CJ has an uncanny ability to pull match wins out despite being underdogs in each individual set, though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see one of their many solid players step up and play a perfect game to take down Bisu and T1.

- The games on Medusa were awesome. Heartbreak is a different map though. After watching Great's comeback against Sangho, I'm thinking Effort's muta harass will be extremely effective. But the way the bases are set up, I think a harassment style (like Bisu and his ridiculous multi-tasking) favors the Revolutionist this battle. Sair/Dt or Sair/Reaver, both can attack the zerg's initial 3 bases effectively. Both players are playing extremely good StarCraft atm. I expect a repeat with Bisu holding blazing hot Effort away from another huge win. Skyhigh > Best - A toss-up tbh. Going with gut feeling. Destination has been played so often. I think Skyhigh will play the aggressor like he did during Gom and not allow Best to do what he's best at: macroing up stupid amount of units Kwanro > Hyuk - Kwanro's practice partners in Savior/Effort will edge this game out for him. He's got solid ZvZ (see his game vs. Yellow[arnc] HERE) And, he's been my 2nd favorite player forever, can't and never will betray him. Movie < Fantasy - God's Garden is interesting. 3 easy bases for terran. But there are no middle expos so getting 4-6 bases late game for Movie will help since he can recall as Fantasy pushes out while the terran cannot defend his 4-6 bases as easily. With the protected expo, vulture harass (fantasy loves his vultures) will have it tough if Movie can effectively defend his ramp. All of this is assuming Movie takes this game that far. Movie's really good. But his lack of scouting has cost him dearly. Guemchi 2gate prxy on Neo Medusa and Violet 4gate all-in both resulted in losses. Will he be caught off-guard again? Fantasy will have a good strategy for this map. I'm expecting early dropships + harassment all-game to pull it out for the SK Terran. Effort > Fantasy ACE - Effort is riding high off his win from Flash and is on-fire this season. Fantasy took even Jaedong to his limit in the OSL Finals. We've had ridiculous TvZ's here already (hyvaa/light, FBH/Hyun, both of Leta's 2-port wraith games, Casy's 1 base,4 rax break vs Firefist) This game is going to be ridiculously close. CJ comes first for me, always. I think either above will happen or, CJ 3:0.
