He lost on the map. Due to the back entrance, JD is able to flank everytime very easily when stork want to move out. Zerg units outnumber protoss in early game but most maps dont allow that flank.

It's pretty bad for P, but it's not nearly as ridiculous as you make it out to be. It's pretty much 1 autowin for each race, and then one map slightly favoring Zerg.
A ridiculous map pool is, for example, the one in the Arena MSL.
Colosseum Othello Tiamat Athena
It doesn't get much more T>Z than that.

mareek, I really admire your live reporting, it's so hard to do when your guy is losing I'm even more impressed that you pulled it off when you don't even like stork.

So true. It reminds me of TvP on Medusa. And it reminds me that everyone whining about Tears had no complaints about Medusa.

The map is one thing
but micro mistakes, no game sense, ect..
has nothing at all to do with map imbalance..
Stork is just not good enough
and he doesnt have what flahs, bisu,jd ect.. have..
for me thats a fact..

One of the most importnat problem with Tears of the moon is, that tosses shit their pants and go all in every time, since Bisu lost to by.hero on it. Yes, i know there isnt enough minerals, and the natural is hard to defend, but one base toss still could work, not talking about all the proxys and canon rushes they could try. 1 base reaver against JD just wont work, he's too good with scurges. Stork is known for his really good slow-zealot control. Why wouldnt he try it? yes, JD's ling are also famous, but God, it was still his best chanse.

Not to mention those were the first games played on the map and crappy zergs didn't realize how to play against protoss one-base tech.

Then you have to consider that option when deciding to move out. Stork moved out at a bad time, and thus got murdered. Not to mention the first time when he lost 2 zeals to kill a single ling. Bad decision-making isn't something you can blame on map imbalance.

worth mentioning that BACKHO was one of the winners there. It's bad for toss, not impossible.

One against Fantasy, one vs Hwasin and one vs Leta.
So screw map balance... JD is unbalanced.

I really do hope he can beat Bisu in the finals (if he gets there), it would be a huge blow to all the Bisu fans out there

If TotM eliminates some Protosses, that's just good. WAY too many PvP semifinals and finals lately; it's such a waste of Starcraft.

Haha, thanks. I was really sparse on content this time because stork did basically nothing but suck for the entirety of the 2 games. Most of the time I was sitting there trying to figure out how to spin it, but typically just went with the "close my eyes and cover my ears" type of fanboy statements.
May we meet again on less imbalanced turf!
It did seem like you took yours up a level tonight, though, so kudos for that.

Without Flash's wins the PvT percentage shoots up to 79.6% on Medusa. But that's still less than 85.7% and so it's not worth complaining about amirite. The win percentage on Tears would be higher for Protoss if one of them actually adapted to the map instead of crying about it.

Chupung is bad for PvZ also but ToTM is the ultimate map ever, more so than medusa and plasma.
Stork done himself when he didn't play standard in chupung ryung. At least he has chance in midgame if JD initial lurker or muta don't do damage. The cheese was good but just the zealot was used wrongly, remember ever OSL 2007 game 2?
