Really don't understand all the hate for Fantasy. As someone who hates most Terran players, I really like Fantasy.

In a world where more and more players are pumping out the same boring, droning macro play every game, Fantasy is out doing creative stuff, using new builds, and trying to move outside the metagame instead of with it. Even when he loses (and he does often, sometimes horribly) I always enjoy watching his games because he at least does something different. There are exceptions though, like his rape vs. Luxury during the first game was pretty sad to see.

Honestly though, what isn't fun about watching a million mutas melt to Valks and upgraded marines? If you're not a Luxury fan anyway...

Either way, it doesn't matter. Fate has dictated that Bisu and Jaedong meet in the finals for one of the most epic series ever.

It's not that factor, it's the fact that he uses the SAME build and is unwilling to adapt to the situation that pisses people off. You can basically count on him to open the same way every single game TvZ.

well this must be awkward for Bisu. He has to take down another team-mate for the semi's..

FanTaSy is gonna rape bisu with some creative ass builds, hopefully.

He almost beat Stork, who at the time of Incruit 08 had the scariest PvT ever.

Bisu's pvt now > stork's pvt back then.. Stork's pvt is extremely standard and predictable whereas Bisu is really aggressive and a bit more random. Just watch his game vs flash on destination during gom2 quarter finals; his bulldog attack on flash's natural that game was extremely unexpected and risky maneuver that paid off. Bisu's got this.. his pvt has been looking phenomenal lately (except for his game against iris on harmony but i blame that one on map imbalance ).

eh i wouldn't necessarily say bisu's pvt now is better than stork's pvt back then. they are more or less about even. stork didn't lose to terrans, period. how can you be better than that? but yeah, i agree stork back then was more predictable. good thing he learned to vary it up.

ZvZ on semi final 2?
thats such bullcrap, both zergs have the skill and chance to beat Bisu but we have to wait until the final to see it.

Can we be realistic here? Stork had a good chance of losing to Jaedong, regardless of the maps they'd be playing on. Stork is historically mediocre at PvZ, and Jaedong has already beaten him in a bo5. Hell, it's not even like Stork played very well this series, even. TOTM may be an easy excuse to use, but that doesn't make it a reasonable one.

I mean, regarding map imbalance, you didn't see Jaedong talking about Katrina/Katrina SE back at that point. Instead of worrying about a heavily Protoss favored map, he adjusted and won. He and Flash were by far the best players at that point, and that fact was highlighted by their dominance of a map that every other Zerg and Terran had problems winning on. The most amazing part is that TLPD doesn't even show their stats on the map during GOM classic 1, wherein they met in the finals.

A good Protoss just needs to step up and show the others the way. Shame Kang Min, a true 'revolutionist', isn't around anymore. =P

What's gonna suck about a Bisu/Jaedong final is that if Jaedong loses, tl net would crash from the 800 pages of excuses Jaedong fans are gonna make + BEE SUIT BUILD BONJWAAAAAAAA posts, and if Bisu loses, all we're ever gonna hear about from Protoss fans is how TotM won an OSL and Bisu definitely deserved it and played on shitty maps

In summary, go Fantasy! He'd get wrecked by Jaedong, but I think he can put up a better fight vs Bisu than people are expcting

God, I think Stork's PvZ judgement is absolutely terrible. I know, I know, ragging on progamers = bad. But wttttttf was he doing with his sairs and his shuttle when he scouts like 8 scourge??? Fucking suicide flights.

Bah.

Also, Fantasy's dropship vs the bugged patrolling scourges = worst luck ever for Luxury -_-

Sure, the maps that Luxury played on favors mech, but Luxury's decision those games was questionable.

This OSL is great because there will be a Bisu vs Jaedong final with Jaedong up 1-0 just from Tears of the Protoss map.

This OSL is amazing.

Both semi will be exciting:

Bisu and Jaedong are the best players in the world and a final with one or both of them will be extremely exciting.

If Fantasy win, we'll have a very exciting TvZ, (with valks) against the top zerg in the world.

If by.hero wins, a new zerg star is probably born. Which is a fucking great news.

In a way we have the best players against the most promising ones at the moment...
