It was quite intelligent actually. It was a 4 player map, so he knew chances would be good that he's not scouted right away. He knew savior was looking sharp lately. And he knew most zergs would expect a forge fast expand. On the other hand it wasn't silly or something to for 12-hatch. If you've watched Savior's game, you know that he more often than not goes for 9-pool against Protoss to get an early advantage, in which case he would've had no problem at all with the 2-gate rush. So it's only natural for him to assume that most opponents, expecting a 9-pool, won't go for a rush themselves. | ||
