Two ASL cycles in, here are the matchup data on Metropolis:
Eloboard ZvT: 351-395 (47.05%) TvP: 291-201 (59.15%) PvZ: 279-325 (46.19%)
ASL19 & 20 ZvT: 4-3 (both Z & T banned once) TvP: 1-2 (P banned twice) PvZ: 9-5 (no bans)
What are your thoughts on this map? Bad for PvT ? Playable ZvT map? How are the wall-ins for ZvP?

59.15% is steep and imo means it shouldn't have been used twice. Maybe a mistake by ASL if it already showed this skew at launch of ASL20?
I think up to 5% skew under 500 games is fine to be used in a tournament, if you can balance it out to 48~52% with the remaining maps, great. The better player can easily overcome 2% skew.

Metropolis
This should have been included in your OP, so people can actually answer your question without having to do search work.

I think new terran strategy of taking center is becoming more and more prevalent. Not sure if map makers should move away from the center expansions again, or at least if they do, they need to keep the center more open. Pole star also has problems for PvT (57% for Terran). Wonder if we take away the center base, along with keeping the sides of the center more open, it would help with Protoss.

To me this is functionally a copy of FS or Retro, just with unusually shaped main bases. If there wasn't a problem with center-expansions in TvP on either FS or Retro, it would seem like the problem on Metropolis is also not due that expansion?
I think it's mostly fine that we had this for 2 seasons, but that should be enough for now.
I like that we might keep re-using "FS clone + some spice" in the future as a map template. FS is a good map, might as well re-use it with some slight variations. The same should become true for some other maps as well over time.

They should just make unbuildable terrain next to the center expansion so you can still expand there but you'll be mining from a suboptimal distance. That's a lever to balance center expos that never sees use

No matter the analysis or the map, Terran's win rate is always higher than Protoss and Zerg. As the number of games increases, this becomes even more accurate.

Good points. Coincidentally, the main layout is literally Beltway's, which is another T map.
But we need P players opinions on this one.

You can simply say "I think this is a T map" instead of trying to start a another balance war you know.

I mean the analysis is all analyses (except PvP, ZvZ, TvT, PvZ), the map is all maps (except island maps).

Maps with many small choke points and few places to flank + protected expansions are generally good for terran in tvp

I'm hoping that Knockout is the only reused map for next season. Feel like the metas on Metropolis, Dominator, Radeon, and Pole Star are pretty stale. Maybe bring back one or two standardish maps from previous seasons and then 3-4 new maps.
Would actually love to see Blockchain or Nemesis return, or some other map that uses that semi-island extractor gates mechanic.

Does this map imo have more choke points and fewer flanks than either FS or Retro?
