(We all know Full up mechs are superior to 200/200 protoss ground units) This means terran does not have to play aggressive at all. Now knowing that, Flash's stragey does not matter whether protoss gets 3 or 4 expansions. It irrelevant due to the following reason: 1)Terran is passive and wait for 3:2:2 (or 3:3:3). 2)Protoss gets 200/200 ground units. Then its very obvious who's going to win. But let's say Protoss goes risky and gets Carriers. As long as Flash scans the rigth place, and scout properly, we all know what happens to carriers to Dual Upped Goliaths. (For some time, this very strategy was called Anti-Carrier build). The longer the game gets, terran just keeps getting stronger. In this game, he played too aggressively and lost few tanks. I don't think Mechis stronger than 200 food Toss at all. It will be in a head to head battle simply because tanks rape everything that stays on the ground. + Gols and turrets take out any shuttles for z bombs. The thing is that When terrans push they are very very slow. This allows toss to use arbitors to recall into the Terran base. Then they have to send some or all their units back. This takes more time. Additionally even if toss does get 200 up against a terran mech force, if the toss army dies, it won't matter if by that point they have expanded to numerous points on the map - in this case they will just replenish the army fairly quickly - faster than a 2-3 base terran can. So you can't just wait around as a terran while your toss opponent gets map control and arbitor tech.

That's why he pushed out at a perfect timing in this game. Not too soon, not too late. Heck, he even had vessels ready at the perfect time, even before arbiter was out. This only proves that Flash made one mistake in this game, losing few tanks in his attempt to harrass. And this one small mistake cost him the game because both were playing 100 out of 100 game... well Flash 99 out of 100.

I have to say that I was a bit careless when I wrote that Flash lost because he was too passive. I think someone else even mentioned that Stork my have gotten an edge simply because he was able to expand in the right places, where it would have been hard for Flash to do the same.
