This is one of the more hype-worthy lineups I've seen in a while.
Two extremely promising rookies, Kwanro and Lucifer; some Flash ownage; a battle between ancient titans (and their sidekicks); followed by a contest to determine the handsomest progamer of all time. Should be pretty epic.
My predictions: Kwanro vs Lucifer is a toss-up; Flash will win; CJ vs KTF is a toss-up; Xellos will win; KTF will take the ace match if necessary.
Lucifer will probably beat Kwanro, Kwanro doesn't seem his old self and keeps trying to macro, subsequently losing. My sense of star calls Darkelf for the upset win. sAviOr. XellOs will beat rA's 2base carrier

Darkelf as an Ace Snipe but I doubt he's going to get Flash. And Iris or Much has been training like no other to avoid the inevitable Flash show this match go to Ace (which is not out of the question. All we need see is play of yore and you're there).
please... just let it get to the 4th set..... mother fucking ra in the house... the original hero of toss.... (besides garimto, but that was before my time)
CJ Fighting, althogh Flash will probably win so we get to see Xellos vs. ra. Nice, could ask for better games anyway. Unless Savior beats Flash in set 5.

This is only week 9 / 14, i don't think it'd be as dramatic as death for the losing team.
Pachi - oops. I thought it was over after this - why the hiatus in the middle of June? (Maybe because it's so effing hot - well, maybe not in Korea like it is here.)
He is scouted late by darkelf, who brings marines imeediately when he notices. Flash' timing is impeccable and he gets to finish his bunker right on time.
DE has about 1 group of goliaths, with 2 tanks. DE trying a desperate hold with 10 scvs or so, but Flash hasn't even sieged his tanks so he doesn't care.
Wow. Strong opening by CJ, almost killing off Reach, but get Muta-owned by Zergbong. Long game, but finally Savior dies and KTF wins. Reach, fuck yeah!
My recap: CJ played the "have more units than opponents and map control, but never expand, never attack, and just move units back and forth across the map doing nothing" strat. It didn't work.

Perhaps it's just me not watching many 2v2s this season... but shit... We've really moved far far away from 2v2s being 2 low res 1v1s happening simultaneously.
CJ lost because their early mass sacrificing tech couldn't completely kill off Reach.
You couldn't expect savior to try to catch up in air, ZB had full fleets + scourge before savior could even start lair thanks to CJ's strat, he had to spore and go hydra to stay in the game.
The problem imo did lie in nbs not covering up for that by playing 2 stargate. CJ had a chance if they didn't give up air control so easily and just let ZB's fleet run about. Savior had the right idea in trying to keep reach down with that hydra break, but it just got chased away by mutas in the end.
And of course some semblance of air control would have helped against guardians.

yeah
I mean I like much
but he shouldnt be the only dependable player
no one else can play consistently
kwanro is the closest
iris is gone 75% of the time
savior is TT in singles and occasionally in 2v2
darkelf isnt clutch anymore
fuck
They should put the minor league players more often. They have been getting results. Put effOrt. Make sKyHigh practice one map only darkelf style. Also start using By.Hydra and Devil? though it seems its not a good time to be a Zerg.
The obvious move for Cj would also be to play Much more often in the single lineups - he is about the most successful player by far for his team. But he has individual leagues (plural!) to prepare for.

my MagicNs better do the same.
Wait Yankees actually won? Sucks getting sports news off TV like a day/half a day late here and too dismayed by the performance thus far this season to check online.
I'd like to see KTF win for my liquidbet, but I do hate seeing CJ falling so far.
Xellos taking the high ground mid with a ridiculous group of metal.
Kang Min reminds Xellos why you don't do that with Carriers to the main.
Xellos rushes back! rA catches it completely out of position and engages! Tanks are sniped! Carriers arrive to clean up! In one quick moment xellos is screwed!
Now I understand why this map kinda favors P, watch ras army make xellos run back and fourth. looking to be about even now, maybe a bit in ras favor, but xellos has a LOT of gols
The Dreamer played well but let himself down with his two base carriers and that atrocious attack into seiged tanks with a control group of goons. Blue goop everywhere.
Xellos played well up until he had a brain melt and forgot how to play.
Yes, I agree rA showed some bad control losing lots of goons to mines / tanks. But that pylon block was so pimp .. I'm sure he would have lost if he got bunker rushed.
So even if he failed a couple of times, that one stroke of brilliance was awesome. And at least he did a good job shutting down XellOs expansion.
And XellOs did do an unbelievably horrible job with those unsieged tanks in front of goons, but rA entertained me and won, the two things I like seeing my favorite players in general doing.

3-1 CJ ENTUSSS
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. I got the 2base carrier part right at least, although anyone who follows recent rA PvT would have as well :p
It could have went something like this. nal_ra: Did you see my proness....bet you can't have taken that down if I was playing you... Flash: Umm....to be honest... nal_: what's that? Flash/ra: hahaha
I know its a long shot, but maybe these are the first steps for a comeback? Not saying he will just rock the scene like he once did, but at least become a competitive protoss that can appear frequently on PL, especially now that Lucifer is proving he can't handle pvz. Omg I love old school so much!
