Savior has a losing record against Firebathero. Savior lost to FBH in MSL in a bo5 serie, and then lost twice in a row vs him in Pro League. All these times FBH did his gay dance ceremony after the games, some people hated it some others loved it.
What do you guys expect from this match up tomorrow? I fucking want Ma Jae to rape FBH, but I have a feeling that he is going to get raped again T_T

I think he didn't want to see the gay ceremony and wanted it bad since FBH calls him out in every OSL and MSL Group deciding thingamajigs. This current MSL FBH said "I want a win so I picked sAviOr" or something and then bribed Jaedong with a Nintendo DS to put him vs sAviOr when they got split apart when Kal put FBH next to him with a response of "I don't like people who disrespect me etc...". FBH is a prick and I personally wouldn't have the cool to just walk away from a prick like that. I would be kicked out as a progamer because when he danced around my booth I would slam the fucken booth door into his face and stomp on it. sAviOr is classy as fuck and a fucken chill ass dude who always speaks his mind in interviews. I love everything about his demeanor and game play. I really really really hope he destroys FBH.

This is pretty much exactly what I said in IRC. If sAviOr wins I hope he has the restraint to keep it cool, but I wouldn't mind seeing him pay FBH back anyway.
While we're all mentioning what the coolest Savior ceremony would be, I think staying stone-faced the entire time while packing up his gear and going backstage would be the best.

He typed GG. He was simply penalized for taking off his headphones before typing GG. Which is a rule designed to prevent players from removing their noise canceling headphones for "crowd hack" (hearing the crowds reactions and using this info to adjust gameplay).

Bisu, Flash, Jaedong are now better than Ra, Nada and the guys that Savior faced in his prime.
They have better strats and some counters to Savior style.

Hm i disagree. Although styles have changed and new faces showed up on the pro scene, Savior is definitely NOT just outplayed by todays pros. On top of the stiffer competition, his play is definitely way off. He is in a huge slump and anybody who thinks its just the opponents getting better is at complete disrespect of his unbelievable skill back in the days or just simply blind. Savior nowadays is a mere shadow of his former self.

Can't agree more, for those who think sAviOr is as good as his former self. Please just look for some of the old games he played and compare it to his recent games and you will be like, comon, who am i kidding?
sAviOr's play was adapted to, sure -- but diehilde and yoofor are absolutely correct in saying that he is also just playing significantly worse. Look at player's like NaDa who are from an even earlier time than sAviOr who are still playing very well and qualifying for leagues -- the same NaDa who sAviOr crushed 3-1 in Shinhan OSL finals back in his prime.
I honestly think it boils down to him not practicing nearly as much anymore. I remember there was a quote by Sonic)Black in one of the sAviOr hype threads that said "sAviOr practices more/harder than any other player I've ever seen" back from when sAviOr was coming up. I cant see him spending the same amount of time as before, and thats why hes slumping. (Not to mention hes a very psychological player and being known as the "slumping former champion who loses to anyone lately" doesnt really boost his confidence to get out that slump.

Savior was claimed to be a god of sc by announcers All FBH is calimed to be is a queer by well us. Savior will defeat FBH and regain face and dominate poeple once more with his confidence and morale restored.

His "new" style reflects it : he is now less careful with his muta harass, techs to hive even without the eco to back it up, and attacks with too few units, instead of harassing until he maxes up. He still has the micro and game sense, but has grown impatient. And as his style has been overanalysed, most players know how and when to counter him.
Overall level of play has definitely risen but that doesn't change anything to the fact sAviOr is playing nowhere near as well as he used to. He's lost the absolute self-confidence he had in his prime, and that alone is enough to make such a difference in his play. Imho he didn't lose it all when he lost to Bisu. He was still playing quite awesome after that. It rather went progressively downhill (second step was the MSL loss to FBH, then I don't recall exactly). And now there's no coming back from it.
He might go on a roll and win another starleague in a while, but like every other bonjwa, I highly doubt it will last. His era is over, and we must accept it.
Although I hated him at first for repeatedly crushing Oov, I really really miss these days now.

Not trying to nitpick but his muta micro right now currently is much better than in his prime. He even said so himself. In his ilovestar episode pt1 someone i think it was jongmi asked him about his muta control and he said in his prime he didnt care about muta micro but later he saw people who actually won with just mutas alone microing well and thats when he started to practice it. He plays abit more agressive now zvt. But like everyone else said hes playing nowhere near the level he used to in his prime. He forgets adranaline glands alot. In his prime what i really liked was how well he took care of vessels with scourge. The way he always seemed to have maphack on.

This is very inaccurate. IT was actually 12 marines 3 medics vs ONE sunken with 1 finishing just as the first was attacked. One sunken not close to finished was morphing and one creep colony was morphing.

Even when Bisu was at his peak and dominating the leagues left and right, Bisu fans still had to take all sorts of shit from hardcore Savior fanboys because of some kind of silly grudge. That's why I'm less sympathetic now for Savior fans, even though I'm one of them myself.
The 2v2 is interesting. CJ protoss air vs Khan Zerg air, and CJ Zerg ground vs Khan Protoss ground. But definitely, CJ is in the better shape, atm. The only fear is the developing Khan Protoss ground tech...but CJ has the air domination with 2 SG sairs raping mutas left 'n right.

I'm pretty sure this will be a drawn-out ZvZ game. Man, Katrina SE turned this map into an even bigger monstrosity now that every1 just sends zergs for it...
In reality they are playing a custom map, called "Muta Maneuver", where you have to send around your mutas in specific paths and patterns and the one who is more accurate wins the game.
We should redesign ZvZ somehow, maybe nothing should cost gas 'cept muta and ling upgrades, so they could freely tech to Hive fast and plague each other.

just a note to all the ppl saying 'the old savior is no more', it has nothing to do with his play being old fashioned or not adapting etc but largely a mental issue (as some ppl pointed out alrdy). they say he still almost always comes out #1 in team practices against each other (and that's no easy feat looking at the insanely stacked roster of cj compared to most teams) and that his play itself is still spectacular in practice its just he has a mental block on translating that to live match success. it seems after being a god for so long and then facing a string of some hard unfortunate defeats, it really has affected him mentally altho his play is still as great as ever. this is very sad but at the very least leaves hope for the savior fans that one day he will regain his confidence and come back strong since at least in some ways a mental problem can have a simple solution while a real deficiency in play can be hard or impossible to overcome.

Thanks a lot for sharing that! We can watch the games and see how the pros perform, but we rarely get access to that kind of information. Makes me hope Savior can overcome his issues and come back to dominate.
