what bisu did (1 zeal into nex into core before forge into 1 single cannon) is a blind counter to standard play from Z... this only works based on the assumption that Zerg voluntarily took a big economical hit in the beginning to fake aggression
The least he should've done was to start a 2nd cannon simultaneously with the corsair with the intent to cancel if not needed

I like the Soma vs Flash idea, but I'd really prefer if Snow is on the other side of the bracket. I might be the only one, but my dream final is Flash vs Snow. Enough with filthy zergs winning every time xD. But if its Flash vs JD I'll definitely won't complain

Zerg is the best chance to take down Flash this season. In the current meta bio is pretty weak so Flash would have to come up with builds for 5-7 games which isn’t an issue for him but it’s the best bet you have, like what JD did to Flash today.
Flash doesn’t lose TvT and TvP is so good for Flash on these maps. Snow normally has a hard time vs Flash even on Protoss favoured maps so it’s really hard seeing any Protoss win a BO5 or 7 on these maps.

Its actually still very common.
follow ULT battles or the Chinese spons and you will see it all the time. Largely FlaSh doesnt BIO much anymore because its quite intense on the nerves in his arm.

Yeah there was a stat years ago that he hadn’t lost a TvP best of 5 in like 10 years or something. This was just before the season where Afreeca made maps specifically to stop Flash from winning.

Was happy to see JD beat FlaSh, was sad to see Bisu lose to him. FlaSh is boring to watch - he's still somehow like an unstoppable force and it seems inevitable that he'll win. Anything but BO1 and it seems almost impossible for anyone bar EffOrt to dethrone him even now lol

just re-watched flash vs jd... crazy how jd knew to attack exactly 10 seconds before siege finished at 10:20
after that attack the game started to tilt in his favour

Just watched the group. I feel bad for Ample! He played well. He might have advanced in another group... not this one though.
I hated Flash's build vs JD. Double armory that fast seems ridiculous...
I loved Flash's 14cc in the last game against Bisu. Talk about winning the mind games.
JD looks fierce! He may be the favorite to win this ASL.

I wont mind a FvJ semi-finals either - maybe anticlimactic to have that semi have more viewers than the next TvT or ZbZ Final, but I would not mind them "just battling it out in semis" at all.

if you are B rank player you will know why. I am B rank player, I never do that, I just try to do my best and I guess my opponents base on time of game.
Bisu's decision, micro, macro yesterday was real B rank player.
