Does anyone know how players can get into the offline qualifiers, other than qualifying from the previous starleague's preliminary rounds? Do they just get their programers license and go "sign me up"? Do they have to be on a team?

There's several players in there without a team listed (Courage winners maybe?). So it seems a pro license is all you need.

They will probably be going through replays or switching between higher profile games and such throughout the qualifier like they have done in the past. Like a feature match system where certain select matches will be broadcast.

vlc? There was a private stream for MSL that was playable via vlc. Then it got leaked by.. well, I won't name names. But it died.
So, usually, vlc won't be usable.
GOM doesn't really need any auxiliary mechanisms. You can usually just find the link directly from GomTV.
YellOw's group is in the third stage of matches. Probably will start around 8-9 hrs from now?

Dragoons take a long time to realize the spines coming out of the ground were not part of nature's design. Meanwhile, plagues land on most of the goons and reavers there (archons don't count).
Zerg drops 12 main, toss takes out 6 nat. Both armies get trashed in the process. Ultra cavern going up.

Toss trying to expand at his island. Zerg proceeds to greatly annoy him by repeatedly dropping and picking up some zerglings. Reavers are not amused. Lings die when another reaver is brought in.
Ultra drop in the toss main, the one place he hadn't cannoned up like there's no tomorrow. Cleared by reavers.
Ultra drop at island, cleared by reavers.

Holy crap. Ultra + swarm assault @3 toss nat. Millions of storm and three archons take out about 10 ultras and some hydras.
The remaining 4 reavers were split up between island and nat, 2/2. More hydras attack the nat. Guardians strolling across the map.

Zerg drops everywhere. Island under attack by guards, after they demolished the min only. Guards get stormed, microed and stormed again, but survive. Drop kills off the resistance there tho.
Zerg razes 12 nat. Min only gets wiped out. 12 main, however, will hold at least until some more guards get there. They got stormed time and time again.
About 8 queens are following a shuttle around the map. One reaver is dropped at... one of the zerg expos, kills nothing. Rock GGs.

P flanks and destroys the terran push nicely.

That battle could have been interesting, had the terran united his vultures with his tanks. This was both got raped seperately and stargates are still blinking. [edit: GG comes shortly after.]

Well this is the qualification for the qualification tournament to the MSL. So they aren't really out of anything. They just didn't qualify.
In 3 months or so they'll have another shot at the next offline qualifier.

Well, yeah I was as happy as all of the others when he beat Sea and Light, but he was severely hyped up as the anti-Bisu and then fell flat on his face. No shame in that obviously, but Skyhigh seems like he'll go the same way. Like you said, I'll have to watch him in Proleague first to see if he'll live up to the (in my opinion premature) hype.

realistically - as one of the biggest kwanro fans on tl - there was no chance he was ever going to win bisu so there was no real let down when he lost - it was expected.
look at bisu on the other hand, when he began his first OSL assault, he was hyped like nothing else after he 3-0'd his group. People were praising him as this protoss prodigy - then he got stomped by goodfriend. Then he did nothing for a while - then rocked our worlds.

- CJ has 1/2 of the seeds for next MSL but they don't have enough players to steal all of the seeds for next msl. (MBC does though!)

- Every team had at least 1 person in the last MSL.
To clarify, Seeds are qualified for the MSL, Dropped fell from last msl and will have to fight with the Qualifiers in Survivor (12 groups of 4 for 24 spots).
