ASL3 Shine vs Mong quarterfinals Game 2 on Camelot comes to my mind. The series where Shine gained his "bag of build"-title, he also proxy-nydused Mong on Andromeda in Game 4 iirc

Wish we could have seen more of Shine, his builds are just so damn funny. Also, with the Valk + Devourer/Guardian appearance, we're a few steps closer to seeing every unit this ASL! (Dark Archons were seen earlier, I think we're missing BCs, Ghosts, Scouts, Queens/Broodlings, and Infested Terrans)

I'm far from being a ZvT expert, but why did Shine morph Guardians so far away and then leave them over open ground? I thought abusing terrain was the whole idea in going for them.

The others I'm not so sure of. I know every unit has been built in ASL, but it would be interesting to know which seasons which ones showed up.

Shine's builds and execution of them is something else, he can catch off guard anybody but just got unlucky when Light scouted him and when Sorry made double starport and pumped to many valkyries. I liked Ruin's performance, he's solid buto needs to step up his game, looking forward to new generation of toss.

Just curious if you know, but when were Ghosts and Infested Terrans were made? Was it Nada who made nukes?
I remember Shuttle making a Scout in ASL11

There have been quite a few Scouts relatively speaking (lots on Sparkle). Not remembering on Infested Terrans, but I'm pretty sure they happened. It's been a while.

Fun group overall. Light being such a boss winning that first game from a bad position against Ruin. Shine beating Sorry with a 4 pool, much like 815 did to sSak haha. Is the 4 pool making a comeback? That winners' match between Light and Shine was well played by Light, but I can't say that it's impressive. Light scanned the main and exp, saw no tech and he had an SCV which scouted most of the map at that point. It only makes sense that there's a third hatchery somewhere if there's no tech buildings up with the lair finished already at that time period. Still, well played to dig deeper. It's just too bad that Shine didn't find a better strat, but it is what it is.
Sorry vs Ruin was just great, because Sorry played it extremely well compared to Light in the first game. Then quite the interesting strat in the last game for Shine. I think if he had slightly better muta micro and did things a bit differently, he could've won it. Not sure of the viability, but imagine 2 lurkers under those guardians. Those marines would've had a hard time engaging that army in any capacity. The two better players won today even if having a new face in Ruin and good ol' Shine would've made for some interesting Ro16 games.
