because na and eu have basicly no lag to each other ^^ or is it region locked ? and how would u check it ? i otherwise see a lot of koreans play in it and alot europeans basicly have unplayable pings vs them xD maps as laddermaps is fine, that makes draco and co be able to compete, but i rather would have ANY map before having nostalgia xD | ||

We definitely would not mind changing a few to accommodate both new and old. It's understandable, but you also have to understand that Nostalgia is horribly outdated and everyone vetos it on ladder. Just replace that one and i guess everyone is fine with the rest. I think a 2 player map is what is missing to give the tournament a well rounded map pool. Most popular ones would be Blue Storm or Destination, a more modern one would be Match Point. | ||

Most competitive foreigners are well known, you should be able to quite easily region lock the tournament and weed out any abusers, the threat of being banned from their local event and any future ones should be enough of a deterrent. With Brood War you can compare replays, hotkey usage and habits to determine a player's identity with near certainty. | ||
