e.g.: 4v4 ; Player A vs Player B (from each team). Player A wins, so player A stays on. Opponent now sends Player C. So we have Player A vs Player C.... And so on. Korean style. If you win, you stay on. This format is VERY exciting, and it still incorporates that "bo1" format you guys have already suggested. This is what they do for clan-leagues on Fish, and it's always provided tons of viewers and the way it's been. Why don't we adopt this as well instead of making this random format that makes literally no sense. | ||

But it STILL uses the bo1 format that the moderators initially proposed which really doesn't change the outcome much anyways. This actually uses their suggested format + add the korean style to it for a much better viewing experience and more fun for players, too. The lack of LP entries was a pure result of us not having sufficient manpower (read: someone good enough with LP) to make a decent page happen. Our main purpose merging the teams is to make it more likely all teams CAN compete and we see LESS to no walkovers. In my estimation, that is not a unrealistic hope to have: New team Euope basically combines the player pool of the "World team" and "Team Germany" That add's quite a bit of potential. Think of it as adding Cryoc, yourself, Vanatir (mainly 2v2) and remag to the list of WU. Team Scandinavia had a good enough player pool last season, but had internal difficulties in the team. It's up to them to realize their potential because they have access to enough skilled players, keep in mind Marwin for ex. played Team Scandinavia. Also adding some players from the Eastern Team on case by case basis is not out of the question. Same about potential in skilled players is true for Team America. Draw and Dragon are strong core players, a wide array of other players is available between ty2, assault, Sugo, Cute etc. Peru appealed to our decision to merge them with Team America in this thread earlier because "we don't get along with other players". You'll read about our decision regarding that in the upcoming news shortly. | ||
