POLAND-B and RUSSIA-Alfa will play as independent teams, running for playoffs. Their players cannot switch to main team (and viceversa) until the end of the season, including playoffs.
Players coming from countries not listed above can be integrated judging case by case, if an integration is not possible we reserve the right to reject those players.
FORMAT
- Double Round Robin system (every team meet each other twice)
- Three sets:
• 3 per 1v1 Bo1 (these players can also play ACE or 2v2)
• 1 per ACE Bo3 (this player cannot play 2v2; this player can also play one 1v1)
• 1 per 2v2 Bo3 (these players can also play one 1v1)
- One point for match won, +1 extra point to winner team (best score 5-0 = +6 points)
- Hybrid elimination playoffs
SCHEDULE
- 14 weeks + playoffs
- Every Sunday 19:00 CET
MAPS
- Starting map given, then loser pick any, no double maps
DISCUSSION
As you can see we have made big changes on teams, I am personally displeased for the fact that we had to merge countries, going to lose the sense of "Nation" itself, anyway we preferred to run a more balanced League giving the chance to recruit higher lvl players to all teams.
Also the Nation Wars format changed, trying with the best of one 1v1 series and implementing an ACE at best of three. This may bring the fights vs stronger team in the paper funnier and not predetermined.
We are open to discuss topics like teams, format and maps before to start, so we can improve something if possible.

I don't like new rules.. I can agree to 3x 1v1 + ACE, but bo1 is a nonsense.

Nice to see a second season coming up, but the proposed format right now is pretty random. Why make the regular 1v1s Bo1 but the 1v1 ACE match bo3? Doesn't make much sense. You could argue for 2v2 being bo3 because it is usually faster I guess, but this format right now is just weird.
Do I assume right that every 1v1 will have the same starting map? I hope that is not the case to make lineup choices more significant.

The format is good from observer's point of view. He gets to see 3 BO1 1x1 games, where 'the better' player is not a guaranteed win, because 'the weaker' player can prepare some strategies on a given map. Then we get to see ACE BO3, so the strongest will fight each other little bit longer than BO1. So everything was made to satisfy the observer and I think that's what admins wanted to achieve.
I'm wondering if 2v2's should be BO3 or BO1, but since 2v2's are often very short, it's ok to make it BO3 (or again maybe its not, because why should 1v1 players have possibilty to prepare a certain strategy, and 2v2 players not?)
From player's point of view, the format is a bit random in terms of results. BO1 doesnt show clearly who is the better player. There is also a matter of showing up for just 1 game and I hope players will have motivation to show up just for this 1 game, I certainly will.
What to improve? Since we are having 2 rounds, we could dedicate 1 of them to be --> Winners league format. Then question, do we make it 4 players vs 4 players 1v1 only, thus excluding 2v2? I think Winners league could attract some people to come and see it.
The previous season was good for players, BO3, a lot of Fighting Spirit. Now we are having season good for spectators.

3 1x1 1 2x2 and a forced Ace match (u need to play this one even if no draw ) is a bit to much.any reason regular games are reduced to bo1 ?
btw since is bo1 this mean we will have 3 different maps for the 3 1x1 ?
and Ace match will have a particular map for the 3 sets or losser choice ?

I miss the point of coming every sunday to play for a 5 minute all-in. Should be bo3 1v1 matches. This is a step back from a good format.
If you want good matches - kick all nub macro maps allowing easy 3rd with gas (fs, jade, etc.) and you'll have nice games.
3x 1v1 - very small matches, especially when the teams are being reworked to include more players.

The organizers need to be more definite about the system, I mean they wanted to change things, but this way it is too mixed up, like others said. I suggest to make it all games either bo1 or bo3, and if they decide to be it bo1, it`d be good to know the maps (different for all sets) and opponents in advance, altough the opponents might not be possible considering today`s terms.
