Hm... I really like Arkanoid and Peaks .. I don't think it is really bad. Neo Arkanoid doesn't favor Terran like hell (sAviOr proofed) and it is kind of interesting.
New Peaks is cool too! Very many strategic points.

arkanoid is too much luck involved with the scouting. If u find ur opponent late and he do some kind of rush u are fucked... thats why i dont like that map

In my opinion a very very weak build from gorush..the initial 6 mutas did absoulutely nothing. He wouldve been better doing a fast lair build/taking 2 islands and going from there. I guess he was preparing against some sort of early drop ship play.

What?-- No Those islands were relativly late. Gorush used a build that was designed to do early dmg/harassment. But he failed to do either. As a result his expos were too late for hi to get enough gas to do anything significant against iris's strong macro build.

6 sunkens are expensive and considering iris killed all 6 like 2 minutes later with no losses it wasn't as big a setback as you think, combined with his early cc and saturated mineral patches

Ya exactly. Gorush was never ahead even with the blunder of Iris. This just goes to show just how weak Gorush's build was...I guess gorush never encountered a 14 cc much in practice on this map.

I know it's expected but I really think Iris will dominate vs goodfriend. GF tends to have safe uninspired play. This kind of play can't win against Iris. Goodfriend needs to play offensively and force Iris to play defense, which isn't his game.

Nonetheless his build was incorrect according to Iris's build.

Although I think Iris is more skilled than Nada TvT you must remember that Nada is most definitely the faster player of the two. This should make the games interesting.

Yup... it should be an interesting clash of styles, but APM is not really a good indicator of strength (Savior and Iris are probaly the best players right now and their avg APM is ~200) plus Nada's confidence must be pretty down after his hard loss in the OSL, so I think he's definitely the underdog.

It's amazing how fast Iris improved his TvZ. Few weeks ago he showed poor performance against Keke on Survivor league, but after that he beat Zergman 2:1, took Savior to a 5th game and now beat Gorush 2:0.

Actually I agree. Even though he is probably not reading TL.net. It must be so hard as it is to be on national broadcast with such a problem that I don't think fans should add upon it with those cruel comments.

imo 815 III is a terrible map for ZvT. Not having gas at the nat really screws up a lot of zerg options.

He got confidence in his game after 'almost' beating Savior I think... he's on a roll right now.

Im watching a stream on mbclive right now, boxer vs nada on a twilight map and both of them are talking to each other a lot, which makes the crowd laugh. They are LvR on the map and mining the rest of the minerals while hiding covert ops from each other. What game is this? What are they saying in game?

Everyone is so silly to have written off goodfriend. I picked him as my favorite to qualify, but I definitely underestimated the momentum that iris has right now. Still, tl.net still needs to educate itself on goodfriend's skills.
