That push was horrible by Piano. Why would you position your tanks at the border of the bridge so they can be easily sniped by mutas while the marines can do nothing about it? And then he pushed into the lurkers without any spread, literally lining up his M&M...
Great game in the end. Was a bit shaky in the middle and Piano pulled it back nicely by killing of Zero's third. All the drops and action was really nice to watch even if both players showed obvious signs of not being able to keep up with the multi-tasking.

I think the consesus is to not build them...
I saw Piano use them few days ago vs Effort and win, but I think rather to show his dominance or mock Effort. Maybe he wants to make it a thing though.

you should just watch piano games on his streams...he is the best player when it comes to executing this particular drop heavy+BC build. BC one shot unupgraded scourges, pressures zerg into throwing scourge, wasting defiler energy so that his dropships can come into the zerg base unopposed to deal dmg.
Imagine 2 BCs tickling your nat, multiple dropships coming in whilst terran front army is waiting for a slipup to just rush in...his style basically hinges on the zerg to panic and slip up in defense management. his style works VERY well against weak zergs but not so much against strong zergs like ZerO who knows his style wells.
unfortunately this has nothing to do with how he lost this game with zero.

lol no, Piano has been doing this for more than a year and he is fish ladder king with it.
Just recently thought how Rush's stream was great as you could watch a good Terran below the top-class practice standard, by-the-book Terran play and that's just what he showed here. wp

Terrific work by ZerO, those ~8-9 sunkens early on really stifled PianO's aggressive M&M/tank pushes. Far more conservative than how ZerO usually plays, but glad it was so effective.
Exciting final match, would have liked to see PianO follow up his first drop on Rush's main with follow-up drops, but alas, he mismanaged his dropships... Well done from Rush!
