I still think HiyA was expecting to engage the Mutalisk's out on the map and not have to defend back at his base. He was very light on air defence back at home despite having plenty of time to build it. HiyA then bascially just feed his marines piecemeal small groups at a time to the hungry Mutas after that. I now think I was wrong about PianO Vs Sea too. Someone pointed out that PianO stopped making SCV's from really early on and I specifically wanted to check this since I didn't notice that at all and it's quite right he does (I need to look out for non flashing Comand Centre's more in the future). I assume this isn't standard when going for 2 port wraith, why would it be? PianO cuts SCV's way before Sea scouts his base with the vulture so it's clearly not in reply to getting scouted. I was just wrong about him changing his game plan in response to been scouted. It must have been a premeditated push whilst trying to maintain the pretense of going two port. Sea clearly as well as me fell for this wholesale. Even when the push arrives Sea moves out confidently with his 2 tanks and a golitah army expecting PianO to have less than him and is in for a nasty suprise. Pretty clever build from PianO he clearly prepared for the match up. | ||
