In the end it also made me wonder if he might have forgotten to research range and might have been using his mm as though they had range. | ||

On the other hand Larva was calm as boss and his play was crazy risky. My guess is part of the reason is the experienced BJ's became familliar with being alone and counting on themselves, while all of the current ex-pros are being with a team and coaches for back up untill recently and the more instabile persons cant cope with the pressure like Zero for instance. | ||

Larva just got trapped, i dont see any critical micro mistakes. After that Larva easily secured a third base with great surround and lurker timing, then the game became wild with that crazy basetrade move, he almost made it. Game was cool. And overall i dont see that many reasons to complain, so many stream viewers used to complain that it became annoying. I just watched hiya vs hero. Basically hero saw marines in front of his base and made defence to be able to attack with mutas, hiya saw mutas and didnt make defence then he died, very silly :D | ||

Admittedly, Piano could have intended to go 2 port but change his plans in a snap decision when it was clear Sea had the "information advantage". | ||

It looked like he was going to go 2 starports and changed when Sea scouted it to me. But maybe he did mean it and the 2 ports where intended to fake out the oponent as well as me. I'll watch the game again at some point. I frequently get things wrong and don't mind admiting that. I love watching the games but have never played Broodwar to any remotely competitive level so it's quite likely I see things differently and probablly often incorectly compared to more expereinced players of the game. I'm just so happy with have some high stakes Broodwar to watch again and that we are here discussing and talking about the game again. | ||

I still feel he had a really low scv count so I feel like it was his plan from the beginning, but maybe he was going to commit to the 2 port then changed when sea scouted. Either way I feel he was pulling some low scv count big attack. of course I'm not Piano though nor a gosu/expert, so I can't really tell. Just a forumite >.> | ||
