Btw a bit of inside gossip.
Yesterday it started, it was a horrible event. Noone talked about it, but they all knew what was happening. They had decided to host 'push up' events. Two players with ego, would put their life on the line in the belief that doing so would increase their chances in the main event.
The winner could gloat, the loser would have to do 20 push ups. I only realized what was happening when everyone was laughing at sen while he was doing his, as f91 gloated and danced around in glee.
Mean old F91 then decided to humiliate the poor australian and the challenge was on. With a bit of back seat driving from sen, i managed to execute a good rush and poor F91 was down and out! (much to everyones delight)
Anyway this morning, the challenge was reissued with 30 push ups as the penalty i'm going to lose this one so bad! (update - its been delayed as he is going to the arena tonight)
Apparently sen had to do 100 yesterday O_O that poor guy
We were also doing it in basketball games yesterday, the losing team would drop down and do 5, then the game would start again. Fun stuff being a giant
But what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger!!

Leg's performance was also graet during this tournament. but it's funny when one of commentators mem it's a bit sorry to see Legionnaire reading a book alone by sitting in the dull corner of the waiting room, and when he tried to have some basic communication with Leg, he couldn't understand any piece of word cuz the aussie accent. lol

We underrate Chinese gamers, especially Super, who's the same level of a rookie korean player in my opinion, Sen hasn't faced this kind of compertition before that's why.

super 1-0 Legionnaire, superb game, each player had half the map at one point before any battles. Then Super just slowly wore leg down. At the end leg still had about 9-10 carriers left and tried to micro them but it was too late as super was attacking move leg's interceptors with about 3 groups of goliaths

1st game sen tried to proxy hatch tosslife in his base while going all-in speedlings vs 1 base. However during the harass Sen exposes his hatch by wandering too far down (tosslife was 7). Then after tosslife fights it off with speedlots and such Sen was down by a lot. He then stacks 4 lurkers while trying to defend and loses 3 of them to storm. He did manage to kill tosslife's nat with lurker/ling but he couldn't defend the counter and lost. Just Sen's overall play, his reaction, micro seems really off. 2nd game on rh3 though Sen just raped with cracklings.

Hihi just got back. 8 tourney games over 7 hours is heaps :S I'll talke about the tosslife games a bit since noone did a report.
Games vs tosslife were the only ones that could be planned, and they went pretty much perfectly.
Game 1 on baekdu, he went 2 gate a few zeals into expansion, i went 2 gate a few zeals into tech with 2 robo double reaver. Did a drop behind his minerals, he lost a bit, and ended up storming them. I kept up the harass and just macro'd the map, had 5 bases to his 3, with arbs and pure defensive positions and he suicided and gg'd.
Game 2 on luna (i lost this map every game i played in the korean scene pvp except for 1) i went 2 gate into reaver, he mass pylon'd my mineral line and slowed me down, went 3-4 gate exp into reaver, and just mass attacked which my reaver was harassing him.
Game 3 on rushhour, - i'd always planned this, i picked luna as 2nd map instead of rushhour just so it would be set up that i went reaver the first 2 games. Then to fake robo the third game and him just to presume that i was doign it again. That on top of tosslife having a tendency to really macro and cut out the ob tech in a lot of games, i was pretty sure it was going to be a success.
So i went 2 gate, a few zeals, got a dragoon, killed his probe after letting him see my robo. Cancelled the robo and went citadel. Then dt rush. My probe saw mass speed zeals heading my way and i ran 1 dt past, 1 defended. got to his main, killed his ramp block, killed an almost warped in canon, but he had 1 canon in his main. So i attacked it and he retreated his ramp zeals, which let me run 3 dragoons up which took down his only live canon. Then the dts went to work. He had dts, but i did pylon cannon cannon, pylon behind my minerals and another one in the mineral line, to perfectly block them from being able to be attacked from zeals. his speed zeals and dt's couldn't do anything. GG.
Game 1 vs super on luna, i should have won that, i messed up a little here, i was sort of ahead, unfortunately we ended up trading bases and i had mined out 3 and had nowhere to mine, and he managed to secure a mineral only and had his gols vs my carriers (no minerals to replace interceptors), thats the only game that i'm annoyed about as i could have done better(and the arcadia game vs sen).Still it was a fairly good game overall.
game 2 vs super, he does the same midas rush expand build all the time, i knew that the rush build would work.
game 3 vs super, i got the worst spots that you can get for arcadia. I thought the build would be good since he would be expecting reavers, but oh well. Still amazed he let me almost come back into that game, it was over as soon as i lost the shuttle / dts.
Game 1 vs sen, i changed my mind after i got the bottom right spot, as thats a good 2 gate position (1 zeal can block all lings coming in). So made that build up on the spot, it was a touch slow so he had his muta out in time.
Game2 vs sen, rush did nothing as i got furtherest spot, and he just macro'd contained 
Over the 8 games, lowest apm 219, highest apm 261. Thats equal to and better than when i was in korea... which is really weird.
So i drop down to stage 3 along with tosslife. The problem is,there are going to be so many zergs in stage 3 F91, Sz.1, flower etc etc. I just hope i draw a good bracket, and do some proper planning of builds on the maps instead of making ones up on the spot. (as i did later into the tournament)
Still i played rather well today, i can't complain so much, it could easily have gone the other way. (either losing vs tosslife or winning vs super) so all in all an okay performance and a decent day.

There was never going to be a super vs tosslife, its not round robin, its dble elim.
Btw i actually played 9 games today, i took on flower before the broadcast, and it was a pretty awesome game on baekdu which i ended up winning. Then later on i was sittin gin the audience (they have first person screens up) and i saw sen looking at the replay!
I didn't mind that, but the funny thing is, when we picked the maps, he won the coin flip and so ruled out baekdu!

Personaly i dont like Super's style , it makes the game long and bored, you always give us suprise . enjoy you time in china, hopefully you can come again next time
