Honestly, this season almost worked without a hitch until Takk ran out of players/ steam. December finals sounds good to me.
I need to start practicing again, but I'd be down to play a fun league with C- people.
Regarding a future DRTL and the problem with less true D players, Minsc thought of an idea.
Best of 5, three slots reserved for D only, two slots for C-. A D can play up into a C- slot if subs are needed, but a C- can't play down. Balance the slots based on the composition of the entire league of true D compared to C-, but that's the gist of the idea.
We might not have many true D players, but we will probably lose the remaining D/D- if they are consistenly up against C- players.

Absolutely agree with that. Minsc's idea is good, pretty much along the lines of what I was thinking of for an initial template. Actual distribution would probably depend on ratio of C- to D guys.
I'll probably make a thread later today and see what we get for interest for "mini league"

Maybe we should do a tournament for D rankers to increase activity. 
But i feel a mix league of D and C is unavoidable, as people who are not really active wont practice and lose there games, which leads to even more losing intereset and only the ones, who want to play the game and doesnt lose their courage after...well a lost game, will stay. And without new people coming in, i think its only a matter of time, before these lowest amateurleague will be vanished, to do one last thing to save them all: put them together.
ps: also its eric's fault, cleary. He was the holy grail, who attracted people into playing D ranks and when he left, everyone felt betrayed and left too.  >

Alright. This is coming up in a little over a week for Ro1 of playoffs, but I need to know if its worth having and teams can still field players...or if we are just going to call the end of this season a wash.
