And Ample ends up winning the entire thing!
Looking at it objectively though, Bisu and Sea advancing would be great for viewership as they are arguably along with Jangbi, the most popular players in SSL.
One of these three in the finals would probably gurantee viewership.
Sorry - I'm new to this. Where can we watch this if we miss the live broadcast? Is there a rebroadcast sometime? Or would it be best to wait for VODs in the Small VOD thread?

rofl. I would go there if I was in Korea but sadly, I need my sleep >.>
I don't like bisu but I see that his winning percentage on afreeca has been pretty good and anything can happen however my prediction is Sea and Bisu should advance because hearing those name in the ro16 or finals would be amazing to all fans of the game .

I have the same issue with Twitch a lot, in fact Twitch has been pretty random here in NZ over the last couple of weeks. I can have days where it's perfect, then days where it just sticks on "Loading video".

Bisu wreaks havoc with his DT, even killing an incoming mine before it blows up. As Ample is sieging up in position, Bisu attacks just before Ample's tanks are sieged up and Ample soon calls gg.
Jaehoon beating Sea with Carriers~ dAHAHAHANGGGGGG Jaehoon beating Sea? much impress~ I remember his game against FBH where he long distance mined and lost the game due to 2 vultures
OMG.... Carriers OP Well I guess we won't see Bisu vs Sea today... (assuming Bisu beats Jaehoon.. but JH's on a tear right now so I wouldn't count that as an absolute) LESS GO BISU!!!!!
Lol BisuDagger with RolyPoly on his stream... Call me old-fashioned but I think Korean Culture had its prime from 2006-2010... Or maybe that was just when I was most invested into the scene... Like the music was good and the esports was great~ :o

The music was never good. Now that we have cleared that up, lets go on with out kpop free streams

Bisu's probe successfully scouts inside Jaehoon's base, showing how great and smart Bisu-probes naturally are. Jaehoon's probe is hopelessly blocked as it cannot break into jaehoon's base to scout...
Jaehoon builds another gate in his base where as BIsu, confident that his superior micro can hold off Jaehoon's slow clicking gets a quick expansion first. and then Bisu adds gates~
Bisu, being the wonderful probe manager he is, sneaks a ninja probe into Jaehoon's base. Jaehoon's futile attempts at any cheese are squashed before they even begin.~
Bisu has 3 gates, knowing his superior economy will kick in soon. Jaehoon opts for reavers because he knows he cannot outmicro the TaekShin in a dragoon battle.
Just when the game was about to get a bit stagnant. Bisu pushes out with his main forces in order to pull out Jaehoon's forces. Then he masterfully sneaks a shuttle reaver into Jaehoon's expansion to take ~8 probes~
Jaehoon pushes into Bisu's base because he knows he's behind now. But even with 2 reavers, Jaehoon cannot stand the awesomeness that is Bisu. Bisu holds with one reaver while taking down Jaehoon's shuttle quickly in that battle.
Bisu's reavers do not dud... at least in this game~ His reavers know exactly where to attack to maximize his attacks. Jaehoon, in desperation tries to snipe the shuttle, but Bisu knew this and already upgraded speed
Jaehoon tries to push into Bisu's base, but Bisu has archons. Bisu took losses getting the two reavers and shuttle, but he knew that he had much more to overcome the flimsy contain of Jaehoon's
Bisu pushes straight into Jaehoon's base, and Jaehoon has no other options but to tap out... 6am... Gotta write a lab report now (which won't be half as fun as this) Great games today~
Q: Congrats on winning the Winner's Match to get into the round of 16. You won with overwhelming results with a complete 3-0. But the commentators were congratulating all players. If you had a specific strategy coming into today what was it? A: I didn't really have much of a strategy. But This last game against Jaehoon, we were in cross positions and I was at a disadvantage (what?)
Q: I saw how you pushed and pulled with goons while sneaking in other units. Were these all plans A: The first time JH pushed, I smashed his base with reavers, so I pushed but then I was pushed back so quickly and handily, so I was like "what." But then my DT helped out, and I was too ahead after that.
Q: Do you think your trademark play came out with multi-tasking and harass? A: Sure... (shy laugh)
Q: Congrats on the first member of Group H to advance to the Round of 16. A: Thank you.
EDIT: my interview live reporting skills are horrible... lol it was good that this interview was short or I would have been bogged with the sheer amount I had to translate. But I still wished this interview was a bit longer~
Sonic was mentioning how there are a lot of foreigners today and about tl. Then one of the commentators mentioned how there are people on tl that have ids with bisu on them.

was probably gorush, i know he has curiosity for the english
He used the "contain" which wasn't really so strong to get a fast 3rd base and then used the advantage to starve the toss as he was teching to carriers, just going from base to base and eventually starving him.

Kwanro > Bisu > Mind > Kwanro is how I imagine the dynamic plays out generally... but any of them can surprise and dominate (although I imagine Kwanro's ZvT must be pretty bad now?) I have no idea how Ssak fits into that picture but apparently he's been pretty good in the SOSPA scene so with all of them playing quite well, all with awesome individual histories (imo), I think there's going to be broken hearts no matter what.
I think Bisu and Mind getting through would be my least hated result but I would love to see Kwanro is a BoX .
From here where Sonic mentions about tl is from 2:25:53.
Ah listening again I misheard what the commentator said at 2:26:04. I was doing something else and had the stream on the background. He said on tl, you see foreigners calling bisu by his id everywhere as an example of the interest in bw from foreigners. But still he was talking about bisu fans like you two ^^.

Yup~ the commentators saying how BW is still watched and being broadcasted overseas in China and America. They mention how "Bisu" is part of our ID~ Yay
I tried to talk to Sonic some when he was giving me the keyboard prize at the end of the match, but he had a lot of stuff to do and looked like he wanted to get out of there. But I did thank him from foreign fans as much as I could.

Jaehoon had great macro throughout the series.
Vsing Sea, he managed to get out so many goons even though losing his nat to the tank pushes.
Now I think about it, every single games were insanely close as you've said. Man I'm still having afterthoughts about them w/ "what if" questions flowing through my brain.
Well, first thing was damn those were some entertaining games. Bisu picked Ample apart, and then we got PvP of the season with Jaehoon and Bisu. That game had so much sick reaver micro and really subtle manipulation of position. Exceptionally fun to watch.
It may be the format, but I'm not especially thrilled with the fact that Jaehoon went 2-1 vs Sea and yet is out of SSL. Probably why it was Bo1 back in OSL/MSL days. Certainly Jaehoon showed play worthy of advancing, with a close game against Bisu, and an overall 2-1 vs Sea. Still, you have to win when it counts...and Jaehoon didn't, Sea did. Probably part of why Sea is a 5 time SRT winner.
I have no idea if it is intentional...but talked about mixed groups. Each one has all three races!
Well I've watched the PvP 9 times now and the 9th was with gf who actually enjoyed watching it. Life is good today!

They were randomly drawn after the games live and it turned out epic.
Thank you so much for the broadcast btw, slowly getting through it, been a bit busy. Think I've got another two hours. Trying to resist spoiling myself but wanted to give you props for this!
