But yeah, new players instead of second chance would be better. i think the problem is time. next round is scheduled for next weekend and people want to practice beforehand. using players from the tournament is faster than searching for new ones. Im not sure...puppykiller asked for being offracing as zerg or something? maybe i got chosen after all the others were eliminated players...idk.

With the Ro16 approaching and a lack of results, at this point, I'm having players that I know are capable of getting their games played quickly, so that's my reasoning is putting greenelve in rather than another new player.
Sorry, but I'm a bit skeptical to new folks now because of the unreliability with the no-shows, no-notice and I'd rather get things played ASAP.

I'd prefer knowing the groups as soon as possible.
However, you should consider scheduling 2 weeks for the next round. Since all games will be bo1 there is a decent chance that people will need to play tiebreakers...

Good point, RulzBoooM. I'll probably look to cast the group selections and extend the due date.
Don't forget, the Ro16 is round robin, so every player will be playing all of their group-mates at least once.

Well, it's not a matter of watching or casting the group, but it's just a matter of knowing the results of the group.
I just think it's a bit unfair to the players that's already moved onto the Ro16 that if they get paired of with someone that's supposed to be from Group F, they won't know who it'll be until Group F is finished, and it'll be a disadvantage for the player that's already in the Ro16 and a slight advantage for the players from Group F. But if people are okay with me extending the date and casting Ro16 groups anyways, that's fine with me.

With that, the due date for the replays have been extended a week, as with the designate game date/time. However, Group F games must be completed and relplays must be submitted by Saturday, Feb 01 5:59am GMT (GMT+00:00).

I won't be able to make it for the deadline on saturday the 8th. I'd have to play my games on Friday or Sunday.
