Although I don't want to necessarily force you to play or not play, but regardless of the results, I think it's easier to learn and improve more from a loss than a win, and continuing to play and wanting to improve after consecutive losses makes you a stronger player in itself.

So I asked a couple of participating players about what I could do to make the league better in any way, shape, or form. Some of the responses were being slightly more lenient on walkovers, due dates, and allowing postponements when last-minute cases occur, distributing games to other casters and not keeping them all for myself, and later designated game times for the American players.

Of course, I would like everyone's opinion on the matter, so if anyone has the time, feel free to comment on anything from something you like about the league, something new you would want to see next season, or something you wouldn't want to see in later seasons. Feedback is always good, and I'm open to ideas as always.

I like this league because although there are some level differences, the league has still remained competitive and not lopsided, basic skill vs preparation can make a big difference in our scene and it often shows in this kind of setting.

As for improvements, nothing concrete although making the play time an hour or two later would probably be quite fair in terms of letting the U.S. players sleep more but not conflicting with EU players saturday evenings too much.
In general though I think players should work harder to play before designated time, but this is not really up to your organisation.

As for casting, I think if others want to cast they should just shout in thread and you can PM them a dl link for reps or whatever.

Should follow same format as last crimson starleague, where Ro16 would be in Bo 3 format, instead of Bo 1. I hate to schedule games with others just to play 'a single match', where Bo3 allows you to just finish game, as well as show some skill-based games. Literally I would rather finish all of my matches in one day, by finishing games within 2 hours, instead of play for 15 minute game, then wait for few days, play another game, and if you are expected to drop from your group, then you don't really want to play anymore. And everyone has stuff to do, which Bo1 in my opinion is pretty much waste of time where it doesn't allow players to show their skills.

Ah, in terms of changing up the Ro16 into another group stage, I will admit that I figured it wouldn't have a great reception because like you said,scheduling and what have you becomes a problem. My reasoning for trying this out was to incorporate for MSL and OSL format group stages, but I'll be sure to take your notice into consideration.
