Its the same when a Zerg plays ZvP ZvT TvZ, then he dodges ZvZ. Sky dodges PvZ (which is more than understandable tbh). Why would you give the advantage to the Zerg? Have both Dodgers play their offrace, no problem in this imho. | ||

This is the rule from last season but I didn't make the sign-up thread this season so I couldn't enforce it. I think it is a joke giving the advantage to one player, letting him play his mainrace, while enforcing the other to play his offrace. What makes dodging a mirror better than dodging an other matchup? Just because the majority does not like mirrors? There are people (f.e. me) that enjoy mirror matches, just as much as other matchups. Really there is no reason to force one player into his offrace and having the other play his mainrace, when BOTH players want to dodge. There should be no preference in the choice of dodging. What is your reasoning for not allowing racepicking? Just because you dont like it? What if someone signs up as TvT PvP ZvZ, will you force him to play one race, when this matchup constellation is actually his mainrace? That would be (as harsh and inappropriate as this wording might be in this situation) discrimination. ^^ | ||

Following scenario Player X with matchups ZvT ZvP and TvZ against Player Y with matchups PvT PvP and ZvZ Then he wants to force Player Y to play PvZ instead of ZvZ. So he is forcing Player Y to play his offrace (he picked ZvZ for a reason right?) against the mainrace of Player X, which is simply unfair. Fairest solution would be a (Player X) T vs Z (Player Y), where both players are forced to play their offrace. And still player X has a small advantage, as he intended to play TvZ, while Player Y has a complete offrace. But this is fairer than forcing PvZ anyways, imho. | ||
