Except that SC2 maps are generally smaller than the BW ones.
EffOrt vs BaBy up next.

Play some BW maps and compare the size to the SC2 ones. I'm not making any excuses, that is how it is.

The PL BW maps are all 128x128. Antiga is 132x136. Stop talking out of your ass please.

Fuck Effort vs Baby should be awesome . I like them both , but for the sake of CJ Effort must win this and the ACE match .

LOL at some posts in this thread. JD plays BW better, it has bigger maps. JD played like he plays BW on smaller SC2 maps. Therefore, SC2 maps should be bigger.

Play some four player BW maps, then come back and play Antiga.
Or are you just here to annoy me?

Well SC2 maps should become bigger in general regardless of JD or not . Most of them are medium sized and only entombed in PL makes for the best long macro games .

Fun fact: Tal'Darim is the most balanced map in SC2 history. The reason it fell out of favor so hard was PvP.
The problem with super huge maps like Calm Before the Storm is how much they encourage turtling. They haven't really perfected the SC2 map yet. That's one of the reasons I'm interested in SPL. I really want KeSPA to try their hand at the SC2 mapmaking scene.

No, i'm here to prove you wrong. That's clearly all i'm here for. Jaedong played the map wrong, end of story. Also, bigger maps usually favour Protoss, not Zerg.

Are we seriously having a flamewar about numbers?
Well, Ohana is a tiny map, so there we all go.

Ohana is 121x136 > 128x128

if effort wins it goes to ace match?

He could have won this hundred of times, ZvP is so imbalanced on this map.... Just too many mistakes. But he has a godlike macro i trust in him. It doesn't favor zerg that much only like 2%. It all goes on if the toss defends the 200/200 roach push as it's hard to secure a fourth on antiga most of the time as Z.
I'll count the mistakes:
1) he takes his gas to late and tech too late (evo, roch, T2) -> can't adapt enough, earliers timings are made to adapt at everything the protoss can do, not to have the maximum efficiency on the 12 max roech push. He doesn't seem to understand that TT
2) T2 too late -> speed roach too late, he didn't want to push until it finishes -> too late
3) He should have done his Stephano push instead of letting the protoss take b3 and make his deathball, plus he waited too much @ engaging the fight. He fought at like 12.30 or 13 wich is way too late. I don't know what the fuck he was doing waiting for his air tech etc... He just had to push at like 10.30 ~ 11, the roach push at this timing on this map is imba. And it's even stronger when the oponent goes on void ray.
4) He could have won this but made his transition way too late by wanting too finish the game on his too late push.
5) the protoss played passively and allowed him to transition into BL (taking b4 etc...) sadly JD throwed away the game by trading his army for economy werhas he needed it to delay and support broodlords. Plus he trhrow away infestors energy on a useless b4, this is a dumb move. He should instead build a ton of spines.
He had so many ways to win this game but he played bad tactically, i hope in a few months he will be able to understand his mistakes, his macro is so good he can only rape asses if he understands the game.

Not really, since Zerg is generally more mobile, but... whatever. Another disappointing day of PL Carcass indeed, Lightwhip.

Effort leaving the door open for Baby a bit there, he'll be relieved to have only traded lings for hellions and not more drones.
