In TvT, broader strategies are emphasized. Positioning, contains, tech switches, and so on. In PvP... build orders are emphasized :/

PvP is very much based on harassment as well.

I mean there is THE LR BONJWA as resident LR awesome OP, then there were others that were just soooo soooooo good. Even the underconstruction banners are beyond epic. Also, OP to this LR, you might want to change your race icon since I sense your affection for zerg in your under construction banner. Also, I think scvs hover, so they should have legs. I disagree with the statement that the outlook is bleak. The korean scene is in a transition but overall I think the outlook is good. This OSL is advertised as a "new beginning" so to me that means more OSL in the future. The foreign scene is looking great, with ISL3, GC, Gem League, etc. Lots of cool stuff going for BW =)

Polaris Rhapsody was one of these maps, for example. It made some of the best PvP because defense was actually important.

That and the layout (which forced defensive emphasis as you said) thus forced many games to become more macro- and harass-oriented affairs... PvPs that actually lasted more than 11 minutes and were a little less 4-gatey.
