I thought team league meant a draft with team captains each getting a turn to pick from the player pool. I didn't realize it worked like this. It'll still be enjoyable to watch. | ||

I will just say two comments: #1 as s spectator It would be more interesting to see balanced competition. I seriously hate to rain on anyones parade but if you have an ounce of fairness in you...then surely you can see how picking teams that are filled with C+ players is going to make it less interesting when you already know who will win? #2 If that's "bmk.Quirinus" it's showing he was B rank 1v1 one season. I am guessing that's someone else... but just making sure because it's too annoying to keep quiet if a B rank is trying to smurf in. | ||

After my last run DRTL probably wouldn't accept me anymore anyway lulz (plus its at 5am T_T). I was thinking I'd sign up and quickly ladder to C-, but it looks like this tourney is at 5:00am as well T_T. Why do you hate Australia so much? I'm pretty sure most if not all of the people in the arranged teams would still play even if they were not on the same team. Krndandaman's compromise seemed the most logical thus far with the "core" set of arranged players and others drafted. | ||

Hmm, not sure how I want to handle this. One way is cap the number of C/C+ players on the team, but that breaks up some people that might want to play together. Another possibility is allowing people to have small groups of 2-3 forming a core, and then drafting from there. How exactly do you propose to prevent that? C+ is a C rank. It's obviously not C+ people that are the problem. It's an entire team of C+ players that is. It gives too many teams essentially zero chance to be competitive, and let's be honest: the league is significantly more fun if you have a chance to be competitive, make the playoffs, etc. Allowing teams to form where all the C+ guys get together removes that element. Although I don't think it will be an issue, if preventing the formation of fully arranged, extremely stacked teams is enough of a reason for you to not want to play I can live with that. I'd much rather have a league that is overall relatively even and fun for everyone than making a few people happy by allowing super teams. It may just be a straight draft. I am open to suggestions. | ||

The problem here is that good times for Australia tend to be in conflict with EU/NA (one or the other) and quite frankly there are more EU/NA than Australia. However, I'd hate to see a bunch of people get the shaft so I am considering allowing people from Australia to play their match ahead of time as set 1. It would then fall to the managers for each team to have set that match up ahead of time and have figured out an agreed upon playtime. | ||
