Yes, this is allowed.

These C and D rank team leagues are really cool.

I'd be willing to manage/coach a team. I'll contact a few people but so far I have 6 players in mind (Only one has confirmed he'll play thus far) and would like a few more Zerg players (If the players I am thinking of want to be on the team in the first place, of course).

I can play this, but I can only make it about 1/2 of the Saturdays (busy with other stuff a lot)--however I already know in advance which saturdays won't work. Can I still play? (C- toss)

Can a team captain be above c+? (Not playing obviously)

I haven't played BW in awhile that is why I gauged myself at C- / C, even though it is possible I could maybe reach higher if I practiced a lot , but I am starting to practice again to play in these team leagues and C rank tournament, it looks very fun and thank you for this initiative, I don't have a team so if any team is searching, PM me or let me know, thanks!

Reason you should pick me to be on your team: Because I love people and work well with others. I am a goal-oriented team player who prioritizes victory and meeting the call of challenges. I will be an invaluable and indispensable member of the team who will produce excellence and cause good results to manifest into existence. My weaknesses are that I am a perfectionist, and sometimes, I think I work too hard. My main strengths are that I listen well, work hard, pull my weight, and even pull a little bit of others' weight, while encouraging the team to collaborate synergistically to propagate positive outcomes.
Edit: I also think we should get to name our teams. I would recommend the following to my teammates:
Team 8 Bad-mannered Shenanigans Charlie's Angels Bear Semen THE HAND OF GOD (must be in all caps) We Are Legion Hamsung Kwan The CIA Imbalanced as Fuck Antidisestablishmentarianism The Underwater Republic of Fish Cult of The Reaver Hivemind of Synchromized Awesomeness Fellowship of The Ring Hungary Hungary Hippos (good for a hungarian team) SCV Mafia Batteries Not Included The A-Team Waka Waka This Time For Africa Death From Above Control Freaks Total Anarchy The League of International Competitors Who Have Been Infused With Korean Blood Flower Power! Robin Hood's Band of Merry Men Average Joe's Gym Schoolyard Bully Annihilators Adorable Kittens Welcome To Kick-Ass 101 Invisible Unstoppable Imbalanced Ninja Assassin Team From The Future T-ara The Wondergirls Immortal Zerglings Requiem of Disgusting Zerg Sounds Cattlebruisers Prepped And Ready!
Update:
TEAM ADORABLE KITTENS [ak] NOW HAS A BANNER! SUP

Will depend on what we get for sign-ups. The ideal would be 8-10 teams of 7-10 ppl, but obviously thats asking for ALOT of signups. So realistically there will probably be a couple less teams with 7/8. Depending on sign-ups the format could change to BO5 allowing for slightly smaller teams.

Yes. Your team captain does not have to be (but can be) a player. Obviously if the captain does not meet the rank requirements he/she cannot be fielded in the line-up.
EDIT: I should add that players not part of a formed team will either be assigned to a team by myself, or drafted. I'll let you guys choose (poll added to OP). Both polls close 11:59 TL time on February 29th.

Yes, provided you inform your team of this ahead of time and they consider this acceptable.

I honestly think that Bo7 is a bit much, Bo5 is much more realistic
