Thought this would be appropriate since WGT is back, with PGT down this leaves WGT as the sole competetive ladder at this time. With a lot of smurfs to gander at, we have some detective work:
i still think there's a huge skill difference.. look at ALFAS record.. no doubt that he is a good player, but i remember him playing on pgt he got something like 30:10 .. and he didnt play in early season, where it was even harder.. but since pgt is death i will give wgt a try, again and i hope i can enjoy it.. maybe as much as pgtour.. but i doubt it 8/

It's not like PGT where there were lots and lots of pros, semi-pros smurfing and we tried to figure out who they were. WGT is just all foreigners we already know and can tell who they are pretty easily.

I have 1g on west, 1g on east and sometimes 0g on europe.
3 yellow on asia but I never lag in game Games are p2p though, so as long as you have a good connection to whoever you are playing, server wont matter :O

Legion. He recently beat Assem, after losing to him in the GGL or w/e league it was. He's also quite serious and good. Like Rekrul, he can kick it in to overdrive when the time calls for it.
Last position is a toss up between 3 others: Pj, Testie and Mondragon. Testie and Mondi are almost tied, because their series are always back n forth.. one winning and then the other. Pj, however, I heard was really good. I haven't seen him play either Testie or Mondragon though.. so it's a tossup.
I think Ret might be in the top 5, like some one mentioned.

blah having a good record while newb bashing can be largely luck. if you have an extremely sound mind and don't bother yourself with different playstyles, but rather always play conservatively, then some luck can be taken out. at the end of the season, take the last 30-50 games of the top 30 players and look at the win percentage. that'll give you an idea of how good they are, especially considering how the point system works now (200 points for loss!)
