If lurkers are not the solution against Flash MM valky timing push, then what's the solution, ton of sunkens?

Lurk openings > valk openings. There's a couple games where this happens, and in such a case the Zerg is advantageous. The problem is more about the fact that most of the time the Zerg is not going to be able to know if the Terran is opening valks, and even if the Zerg does know, will they be able to get lurkers out without Flash knowing that they're opening lurks instead of mutas.

Flash has good scouting, incredible game sense, and the knowledge and understanding to take advantage of the trends in the game, so most of the time it's going to be Flash taking advantage of you, and not the other way around in ZvT.

People, seriously, get over balance issues. No other player makes Terran look so damn imba other than Flash. Fantasy, Light, Sea, Baby, Mind are all great players but hardly make Terran look broken. I mean Bisu makes PvZ looks broken but other P's still struggle vs Z. Hell for a short period it looked like Z>T in PL and individual leagues. ALL other terrans got knocked out in the Ro4 except for Flash. I mean we had Hydra, Zero, JD, and Flash. If terran were so damn broken you'd expect to see more Terran. JD and Hydra both killed terrans in the Ro8 to reach the semis. Also the Terrans that failed to reach the Ro4 were eliminated by Zergs. It's only Flash that can break Terran because hes so damn good.

Indeed. It's a huge risk opening lurkers.

By the way, I remember Flash beating Kwanro when opening Valks vs Lurkers. XD

Zergs should stop using greedy builds against Flash and start doing some unortodox shit to surprize him like Effort did. You cant beat Flash with greedy macro builds period. I wish there is a zerg who will grow some balls do throw some 4pool, 9pool, 2 hatch lurk play and similar stuff against Flash.... yes you might be still in a disadvantage but its still better than 3 hatch before pool no sunk style and just get owned by sick timings from FLash.

This final was just one huge stomp from Flash. He had studied Zero playing style and just dismantled him with good builds. Zero didnt stand a chance because he didnt even adapt and just played his own style which was countered in all 3 games.

I second this. If you don't believe this, watch FLash vs Calm on benzene. Valks dont do shit against lurkers. What are they going to do, overlord hunt? They get scourged.

JD did one weird ling burrow thingy and two 4 pools in a single Bo5 and still got smashed.

This is brilliant.

On a related note, although Flash's level of dominance is unprecedented, some people seem to be exaggerating/overreacting a bit. Remember last season when Flash dropped out of the group stages of both leagues? TBLS aren't making the game "boring"; there has always been ample opportunity for other players to step up and take titles. Any non-mirror finals with one of the fab four is way better than, I don't know, let's say a ZvZ.

EST is really a terrible time zone for watching individual league finals (they always tend to start early in the morning, whereas SPL sometimes starts at midnight). Well, according to the results, doesn't seem like I missed out on a whole lot. Congrats to Flash on his Golden Badge!

THe "burrow" game was lost because consume research was gotten about a second too late.
The first 4 pool was a game flash threw away.
The second 4pool didn't work because flash scouted him. in reality, there is only a 1/3 chance that a player will scout a 4 pool on a 4 player map.
The final game was a 5 rax vs 12 hatch so BO win.
