that clued Snow in that Zero had drop, and reinforcing his main with cannons made Zero's followup weak
if anything, the lings should have clustered with the lurkers, or even dropped in later when the lurkers were done
the lurkers didn't even necessarily have to be morphed in snow's base

Well the thing is, Snow knew something is up, it's not like he was going to leave his base soon. ZerO had zero (lol) information about what snow had in his main, so sending those lings was a risk yeah, but could have been a win if he found a single cannon morphing or even better nothing morphing.
He was going all-in in any case, you gotta take risks, it's easy to speak once the game is over.
